I have to move a (small) site from *all-inkl.com* to *strato.de* whilst I have md5 password encryption on the first server (provide all-inkl.com) and md5 seems not supported at strato.de .
when I do a fresh installation at all-inkl.com, Tiki choose md5 by default (which I find is quite good so)
when I do a fresh installation at strato.de, Tiki choose tikihash by default (which I find good in the contaxt that md5 is not supported there)
but when I want to move the database from all-inkl to strato, I kind of loose my users and I even cannot login as admin anymore
did anybody have a similar issue before and can give me a hint, what to do?
it is more a general question, as in this particular case I could use tikihash and setup the few users again, but generally or if it would be strongly required to use md5, there should be a diffeent solution?! rodrigoprimo: [~rodrigo@186.221.101.185] has joined #tikiwiki xavi: [~xavi@servir5.ir.vhebron.net] has joined #tikiwiki arildb_: [~arildb@101.109.79.101] has joined #tikiwiki arildb: [~arildb@101.109.79.101] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] JoernOtt: [~JoernOtt@213.61.64.210] has joined #tikiwiki xavi: [~xavi@servir5.ir.vhebron.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 268 seconds] marclaporte: [~marclapor@modemcable049.210-201-24.mc.videotron.ca] has joined #tikiwiki mode/#tikiwiki: [+o marclaporte] by ChanServ xavi: [~xavi@servir5.ir.vhebron.net] has joined #tikiwiki RobertPlummer: [~robert@173-165-104-150-Illinois.hfc.comcastbusiness.net] has joined #tikiwiki

have you ever used the "ip selector" thing in trackers?
I'm willing to filter items in a PluginTrackerlist call (in tiki 8.x) based on the ip of the person who added the tracker item
I know there is a "view=user" param for http://doc.tiki.org/PluginTrackerList to filter items for the user
but for an application that we need to finish in short (for a paper on a journal about a web app. for bioinformatics, using tiki and pluginr) we need to allow anonymous users to use trackers, and show those items for that user only in a trackerlist, for instance
I guess that http://doc.tiki.org/IP+selector provides the tool.... but I don't know how to call that ip as a filtering option in the trackerlist
btw, sylvieg around?
