hello #tikiwiki
hey, I try to reproduce the style the menubar at tiki.org, but can't do it
I create a new menu, I add it to a module / topbar / horiz, etc
but i can't reproduce the box effect and separator
do you have an idea please ? ricks99: the separator line is via CSS
look at the #tiki-top .cssmenu_horiz li a definition in the CSS
are you using a custom theme? i: think it is because tiki.org use the menu via admin->look and not as a module... but not sure scullder: mmh
no, it's the default theme ricks99: note that info.tiki.org is running Tiki6LTS,
the other sites are Tiki 8+
what version are you using scullder scullder: 8.3 :) ok: was wrong.. on dev there are module ricks99: scullder: are you having issues with the black bar menu, or the secondar menu at the very top of the page? wuith: oaram nobox=y scullder: the black bar menu
I can take a screenshot if you want ricks99: would be helpful scullder: yep, nobox=y
I send you the screenshot in mp
[off] http://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1327076979.png luciash: hi ricks99: and you've done no customization to the theme or css files? scullder: nop
maybe one
I check luciash: what syntax do u have for the menu module ?
also make sure JS is loaded scullder: It's a standard module in fact on: dev.tiki.org there are some params in the modules menu_id=secondary_site_menu menu_class=box-secondary_site_menu: and menu_id=tiki-top menu_class=clearfix: luciash: sometimes CSS menu displays even without JS on but slightly different look
but it seems you have arrows, so it should be ok (with JS) scullder: id=... type=horiz nobox=y ricks99: also need menu_id=tiki-top
i think
if you look at the css, the menu divider requires the #tiki-top scullder: menu_id refers to the menu i've created
I've done that, it does not change anything ricks99: you need to set the css ID for the menu to #tiki_top
then clear cache scullder: it's menu_id parameter ? ricks99: y scullder: I've tried menu_id=tiki_top and menu_id=tiki_top
no change
:( ricks99: did u clear the cache? scullder: yes ricks99: can you confirm the CSS that your site is using for: #tiki-top .cssmenu_horiz li a {} scullder: how can I see that, I've quickly read the css but did not found tiki-top ricks99: is the site public? do you have a url I can see?
can use firebug (for FF) or devtools (for IE) to check CSS scullder: It's not public but I can add an exception for your IP if you want
I install firebug ricks99: that woudl work fine. scullder: for cssmenu_horiz li, float: left; position: relative; / for .cssmenu_horiz a, display:block; position: relative; ricks99: [~ricks99@75-138-213-240.static.snfr.nc.charter.com] has quit [Read error: Operation timed out] scullder: :( ricks99: [~ricks99@75-138-213-240.static.snfr.nc.charter.com] has joined #tikiwiki scullder: ok, it's tiki-top, not tiki_top
shame on me
it works now ;) ricks99: lol. great scullder: the only needed parameter for the style is menu_id=tiki-top
Thanks a lot for your help ;) ricks99: you're welcome. scullder: :)

I've just tried on our production server at work (running proposals/6x) the batch on trackers....
and...
Notice: Undefined index: SERVER_PORT in /path/lib/setup/absolute_urls.php on line 34
any clue?
I got that message on the ssh console after I did run by hand the "php tiki-batch_todo.php" does: it stop the batch or not luciash: hi xavi, just a notice, is it fatal ? xavi: he he, I didn't receive any email (afaik, so far)
and I expected a few
let me check the tiki logs.... (for the emails that should have been sent) ricks99: [~ricks99@75-138-213-240.static.snfr.nc.charter.com] has quit [Quit: Get the best-selling Tiki books (paperback and ebook) at http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/ricks99] xavi: it has been fixed in 8 there: are test on !isset xavi: :-/
no way to have it fixed in our LTS?
mmmm, oh well, it may have worked, in fact (changing status), even if I didn't get the email warning about the change...
maybe that's the expected behavior for older items than the time frame.... CIA-83: tikiwiki: chealer * r39595 /trunk/doc/devtools/svnup.sh: [REF] Clean up following r39594 xavi: sylvieg, what is the batch feature expected to do when you have an item with no modification for 8 weeks. and you set the batch action on trackers to send an email after 4 weeks of no modification, and changing status after 5 weeks of no modification?
I mean: should I expect to receive an email besides automatic changing status at the same time, if I apply the bratch on trackers now?
mmmm, looking at our production server and its tiki again, I confirm that the batch on trackers has worked as expected concerning teh change of status, but I didn't get any emails warning about anything... CIA-83: tikiwiki: sylvieg * r39596 /branches/8.x/lib/setup/absolute_urls.php: notice xavi: I presume that we would need the logic between sending emails and changing status the opossite as how it must be right now (if I undersand correctly)Ç.
I mean, right now, according to the interface of batch actions on trackers ( http://doc.tiki.org/Batch ) you set first the time frame for the status change, and send the email x weeks before changing status
and when you do that for old items (like change status after 2 months of no change, when your items have been more months with no change), you get no email
maybe because of the logic in the code (I'm not sure, I haven't look at the code).
what if it was the opposite: send notification after x weeks of inactivity, and change status x weeks after that if no modification has been done.
sylvieg, do you understand what I mean? ^ -: xavi has to leave in short CIA-83: tikiwiki: sylvieg * r39597 /branches/proposals/6.x/lib/setup/absolute_urls.php: [bp/r31731,39596]notice disturbing tiki_batch_todo sorry: xavi I am not multitask CIA-83: tikiwiki: sylvieg * r39598 /trunk/lib/setup/absolute_urls.php: [merge/r39596]notice xavi: he he, I know sylvieg (sorry for writing som many things while you are bug fixing and backporting)
ok, I did just setup a basic test environment on demo.t.o there: is a test alreadynotif in the code.. but in this case it should have send something -: xavi just needs to find the ssh login credentials in his email box somewhere... xavi: sylvieg: send something: should these emails be added to the tiki logs also when the feature is on?
(because I counld't find any reference to emails at the time when I did run the batch todo php
anyway, forget my test for production, for the time being. I suggest that we keep testing in the following daysÇ/weeks in the demo server, where we all have ssh access to yes: xavi: so that it will be easier to check the settings, etc. do: you have a log about the mail? xavi: basic environment for tests: (my suggestion):
http://demo.tiki.org/6x-proposals/tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=3
I used proposals/6x because I know that it worked there (and probably does work already)
but no idea with 9x and trunk, etc. (too many "degrees of freedom" there yet)
and I could apply the profile Barter_Market in 6.x (it doesnt install in trunk we dunno why, but that is another story )
so we can just set something like, auto change status after 2 days?, and send an email 1 day before that?
so that there is short time frame to geet feedback on it? -: xavi looking for the ssh access for demo.t.o xavi: email sent sylvieg to TAG asking about how to set cron jobs in that server (it seems crontab is not found by bash)
see you later (time to go for me)
