xavijenser, nope, it does not exist, afaik. it does exist for wiki pages (use forums for comments), but not for tracker items, afaik. You can use comments to tracker items, but not in forums, just there in trackers

rodrigoprimoHammer: AFAIK Tiki 3.8 doesn't automatically fix the encoding for you. newer versions of Tiki have an option to do that.
Hammer: if you intentionally changed the collation in local.php you have to convert the data by yourself 		[13:48]

my old tiki 2.2 use UTF as charset but for collation it uses Latin1 swedish
when i creeate my newdatabse on new server using PHPmyadmin
i made it UTF8 charset
and utf_general_ci
for collation
then i imported my databse
and ran the installer
is it the correct way to go ?

there are like 3 things to fix, and they all 3 are handled correctly by means of the php installer after 5.1 		[14:44]
WSD_Sorry if this was asked before, I thougt I found how to resolve,but the resolution didn't fix the issue. Installed v8.1 and tried to install profile "Company_Intranet_8x" but received "An error occured during the profile validation. This profile cannot be applied. Message: Invalid URI supplied.". Chat post recommended to upgrade to v8.2 and I noticed v8.3 is out so I bypassed v8.2 and went straight to v8.3. Still receiving the error

and we were very lucky to have one (very) experienced developer to understand the issue and find an easy way (throgh the installer script, and doing the right steps) to fix all issues for us
