fabricius: polom all gillesm: hello is there a script to convert gallery files in database to filesystem ? benoitg: joined #tikiwiki fabricius: hi gillesm r u still there?
you do not need a script gillesm - Tiki does it for you with only a few clicks ... if the path is set correctly and the folder has the appropriate chmod, maybe two clicks
gillesm: look at .../tiki-admin.php , click on the file gallery icon (.../tiki-admin.php?page=fgal) first tab ... scroll down a bit and find a drop down menu for that
gillesm: choose filesystem and an input field for the path opens ... type in the path
gillesm: standart in the tikiroot: /files <- not recommmended better one or two up out of the tiki root -> ../myfilesfolder or ../../myfilesfolder
gillesm: make sure to setup the folder (maybe via FTP or SSH) and to chmod with 777
you can do aswell the following for several functions (to be set in the appropriate function admin areas): ../files/achive ../files/wiki ../files/tracker
gillesm: obviously you created a folder /files one level abobe the tiki root (../files) and in there the actual file folders for archive, wikiattachments, tracker attachments etc.
hmmm I should check the docs and write this down, if it is not yet there goj_killedByISP: joined #tikiwiki gillesm: fabricius, tanks

hi Jyhem fidel: alright ;) Jyhem: hi Xavi xavi: Jyhem , I did read the irc log from yesterday Jyhem: oh, nice xavi: and I saw that you said something about item link issues (and /or fixes)

I can let you see how I'm using item link in tiki9

testing tiki9 upgrades from stable tiki6 sites, I mean Jyhem: yes, testing is OK, then you do real-life and.... :-) xavi: :-) Jyhem: The issue is specifically for itemlink which display multiple fields and some of these multiple remote fields are themselves itemlinks xavi: ah, ok, never did that curly magic :-)
Jyhem: any tip on how to avoid getting the piwik script code (Admin Home > L & F > Custom End of <body>) being converted into <sc<x>ript ?

tell me please! xavi: I managed to do that "by hand": add a new static text field, with a character , like dash ("-")
then add this field between any other two fields
it didn't work in 6x, but it does work in 9x :-) Jyhem: ok! that's hacking :-) xavi: :-D
but it works, at least, without touching any line of php :-) Jyhem: yes, the php is full of $separator parameters, but the functions are never called with a separator value :-( panamaus: joined #tikiwiki fidel: could it be that the registration mails on the official-tiki-page arent send direclty? maybe patched all x-minutes/hours?

weid thing about boxed content... I can't reproduce the issue in demo.t.o/trunk RobertPlummer: I figure it can be used as a marketing device. It is always neat to see new features, but the wow factory... Tiki is getting more of those.

xavi, I even had a go at making smarty indent automatically, till I remembered that you can't really do it with smarty, at least not without knowing every available function. xavi: yes, so do most of us with what we know and can (fair enough) RobertPlummer: xavi, I think you should get a pat on the back for all the documentation you've done.
xavi is like a documentation wizard! xavi: RobertPlummer: smarty: yes, that's why some manual button to let humans indent is needed
documentation: I do what I can, as you said, thanks to the wiki way of doing things RobertPlummer: So a quick way to indent would be to select all the lines you'd want to indent, and then press tab to indent, and shift + tab to un-indent.
That is in codemirror. xavi: ricks99 is doing things in a much better and organized way, etc. but we all do what we can with our time, knowledge, expertise, etc. RobertPlummer: but if you switch to textarea, the browser is in charge and handles all that. xavi: wohoo: indent with tab and un-indent with shift-tab?????
that's going to be useful! can't we add this tip somewhere? (in the wiki help?)
and commenting text, is there any trick for that? RobertPlummer: xavi, yup, where do you suggest?
commenting text? explain...
Looks like the tab thing isn't working with wiki syntax. xavi: step by step: I did press the tab key, adn all selection was lost :-/
using 9x RobertPlummer: Let me test it in different modes.
I see that.
grrrr. xavi: and that's why simple (non automagic) tools are useful for human "beens"
we need future-proof helpers, browser independent, etc. RobertPlummer: So you want a button that indents and un-indents?
xavi, so I was wrong about the tab thing, probably got it mixed with phpstorm. xavi: ok RobertPlummer: tab and space are your indent tools, just go to the beginning of the line and insert them.
Looks like it is a line by line thing. xavi: can't we add a button which adds spaces of tabs to a block of text, in a similar way to how bullet points are added to a block of text?
try selecting a block of text, and click at * in the toolbar
we need something like this for the addition of tabs or spaces (never knew which is the best approach codewise, spaces or tabs) jonnyb: b sandroandrade: joined #tikiwiki xavi: mmmm, jonnyb and RobertPlummer, clearing minified cache files doesn't seem multitiki ready
or at least, multitiki-in-subfolder CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r40672 10/branches/9.x/lib/core/TikiFilter/RawUnsafe.php: [FIX] fiters: De-sanitise "raw" values xavi: I click at clear all tiki caches, and those minified*.css nd codemirror*.css files (under ./temp/public/) don't get deleted RobertPlummer: Did you run the tiki setup after updating? xavi: probably because the cached files are cleared at ./temp/public/site1/ RobertPlummer: Myn got deleted.
Perhaps? xavi: my site is at something like: http://foo.org/site1/
site1 is tiki one (from a multitiki)
site2 is another tiki (from the same multitiki)
etc
see this: http://doc.tiki.org/MultiTiki+Manual+Installation
so probably the minified files should be stored in the $tikidomain subfolder of temp/cache/
since this is where the clear all tiki caches will clean them
jonnyb: you are (were?) using multitiki also, aren't you?
do clear tiki caches clear your minified css files too? (whenever you get a chance to check, that I read that you are somewhere on holidays :-)
RobertPlummer: I manually cleared those css and js files in temp/cache at the server
after I did svn up
and I still see those lines from the boxed content displaying ugly
similar screenshot as the one I did send you before on the pm
bbl RobertPlummer: xavi, I think they are actually displaying correctly, but there is an issue with the theme that you have that is messing with line-height or font-size. xavi: back
ok, good tip, I'll check with default themes
RobertPlummer: see new screenshot on pm, after theme switched to fivealive, no custom css, cleared tiki and broser caches, etc
lines from boxed style are style overlapping from one line and the one below RobertPlummer: let me check and see if I can fix. xavi: I don't know what's the best fix, I'm just noticing it
maybe it can be as it is (minor visual issue with standard themes)
with mollio it gets worse for some reason, but probably mollio could be tweaked a bit also to reduce that visual effect in 9x
fyi, mollio theme is in mods.t.o, it's not bundled in tiki RobertPlummer: xavi, I see it now, let me fix. xavi: ok CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r40673 10/branches/9.x/lib/ (prefs/feed.php rss/rsslib.php): [FIX] feeds: Fix missing content-type for cached feed data, correct the info about caching on feed_cache_time pref (see $rsslib->get_from_cache) and add a sensible default for new installs RobertPlummer: xavi: I don't think I can fix it with offset, I've removed the top border and it looks a little better.

let me do an auto merge. xavi: :-) radek82: joined #tikiwiki rodrigoprimo: joined #tikiwiki RobertPlummer: xavi, so what do you think of the new codemirror for a replacement to textarea?
xavi, does it in-fact work as a textarea replacement nearly bug-free?
keep in mind textarea doesn't allow you to indent. xavi: RobertPlummer: if the issue with the false positioning or cursos is gone, then I would do +1 for codemirror to be on by default :-) RobertPlummer: xavi, I went ahead and switched it, so it should be on by default. xavi: textarea: but it will allow you to add spaces, wouldn't it? RobertPlummer: They both allow you to add spaces.
Textarea will not let you add teabs. xavi: and tabs? RobertPlummer: :) xavi: ah, ok. then +1 to have the button adding spaces, not tabs
this way, it will work with both modes RobertPlummer: Ah, very good. xavi: like two spaces by deafult?
or 4? RobertPlummer: Right
I think that is the norm. xavi: ok RobertPlummer: I think most of us tiki-ers use tabs for development, but I guess these are two different areas.
wiki / dev xavi: RobertPlummer: add two buttons (disabled by deafult): one with spaces, and one with tabs

try adding .png to the end an re-uploading? dialogik: jonnyb: .png already at the end
jonnyb: crazy and disappointing at the same time: I used "desc" and "alt" attribute and it tells me abount that expected filetype. but when I remove those attributes it shows the picture... :( RobertPlummer: Why isn't there a button for textarea on tiki-admin.php?
nm, found it under editing and plugins jonnyb: dialogik: er... desc and alt?
in tiki-list_file_gallery.php... oh, do you mean it's in the img plugin in a wiki page? dialogik: jonnyb: yes, sorry for confusion. error occurs in two situations. 1) an error occurs when I try to include via img plugin AND using desc and alt attributes and 2) when I browse the files and click "view" it also tells me expectations about other filetype jonnyb: hmm, certainly curious dialogik: jonnyb: update: I just re-uploaded the file (due to file changes) and no it correctly shows the picture when viewing from file gallery jonnyb: super - as i couldn't think of anything else to try :) dialogik: :> xavi: ok, see you guys, thanks for all the nice work you are doing with tiki9!
cheers

mmm, another quick issue in 9x for css masters (not me): modules are too wide in 9x when shown with Chrome, but they display fine in Firefox (11). Example: http://ueb.vhir.org/cursos/2012
btw, jquery mobile is very nice and finally working well in 9x :-)
from the smartphone, the site can be switched back to normal display
ricks99: ? do you know how to prevent the modules at the bottom to be displayed within the width of the center column? (the mobile and log in modules, using Chrome) jonnyb: yay, also nice (except i have got one site where i seem to "fall out" of mobile mode after a few clicks...
xavi: use the page bottom module zone xavi: he he... but using firefox it's displayed correctly
ok, as a workaround, I will
thanks for tip
and fyi, applying the mobile profile didn't work for me (the perspective didn't get set, I dunno why)
maybe it was just me ....
jonnyb, in 9x, do we need to enable the use latest library for mobile?
modules moved to page bottom jonnyb: shouldn't do - i updated the jqm lib to one off the git repo
so there's only a few days difference xavi: ok CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r40685 10/branches/9.x/lib/codemirror_tiki/mode/tiki/tiki.js: [FIX] was returning null for operator, changed to operator xavi: ok, see you all

RobertPlummer: ricks99: Does purging cache and db count? ricks99: not for me. this is a brand new install. just an empty db and no cache RobertPlummer: trying now
Just finished, seems fine.
I used my 9.x branch, newly svn up'd and no cache or db. ricks99: hurmph... i have 128m memory, php 5.2.8 and mysql 5.1.34 and get wsod after entering db connection info
guess it is something on my side then.
thx for verifying.
maybe something screwy with my 9.x svn view... anyone know when 9.0 zips will be built? RobertPlummer: I was hoping changi could help out with that possibly. jonnyb: ricks99: seems the daily built at http://tiki.org/tar/lastiki_BRANCH-9-x.zip hasn't been set up yet :( RobertPlummer: jonnyb: How do we set that up?
ricks99: force errors to show up in the installer. jonnyb: ask Oliver (i think Marc already did) - so we wait... bibi RobertPlummer: Let me check it.
We really should use jison for this.
Fixing it would be futile unless it was in jison. jonnyb: looks like jison to me (sort of php, sort of js) RobertPlummer: The parser file is an output of compiled .jison file. Jyhem_laptop: scary :-(
