polom Dr{Wh0}: I must be missing something silly. I have purchased the 2 ebooks to help out and following the Tiki for smarties on a 9.0 server I am not able to make a menu that is visible to anon users.
does something additional need to be done in 9? gillesMM: hello I moved images from Database to filesystem in image galerie .. and my image are broken idea ? marclaporte: jyhem: I saw http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.cms.tiki.cvs/70550/focus=70551 maybe 2 months ago. I am not aware that it is fixed
Dr{Wh0}: is menu linking to a page visible by admins? Dr{Wh0}: marclaporte: my admin login seems to see all the menu's wiki forums home etc marclaporte: menu has WYSIWYCA What You See Is What You Can Access Concept, so if you can't view page, menu doesn't show Dr{Wh0}: although I dont see the menu I added as admin hmmm. gillesMM: oups solved it was a cache problem
salut marclaporte Dr{Wh0}: as in the ebook i purchased i added a "Main Menu" following the same docs I assigned the menu and sub menus to anon
I added one sub menu called ForumsAAAA but even admin does not see it
As admin I do however see "Forums" menu as part of the built in default admin menu marclaporte: hi gillesMM! Dr{Wh0}: I suspect that the version I got from svn hase a serious bug in permissions. Jyhem: Dr{Wh0}: have you cleared caches ? Dr{Wh0}: nope.
I am doing an svn update though looks like a lot of changes in the past 5 days Jyhem_laptop: Has anyone managed to use "Upload from URL" in page http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-upload_file.php?galleryId=5 ? Dr{Wh0}: ok cache cleared still no menu
hmm svn updated restarted apache same deal. Jyhem_laptop: Dr{Wh0}: are you anon (loggued out) ? Dr{Wh0}: I have 2 browsers open firefox and chrome. On chrome im am not logged in on ff I am logged in as admin Jyhem_laptop: did you go to Admin → Modules and add the new menu ? Dr{Wh0}: hmm I was following the ebook so I dont recall that step no. Jyhem_laptop: That appeared after Tiki6, I think Dr{Wh0}: can I purchase a newer ebook? Jyhem_laptop: I don't think the Tiki9 one is out yet. Dr{Wh0}: ok Im on admin-> modules page and not sure what to do next. Jyhem_laptop: But Admin → Modules must have been mntioned (only it looks much beter now)
Tab "All modules"
filter menu
see menu
Drag&Drop where appropriate (that's the new pat!), then, once positioned, double-click and configur
no, forget about double-click, that's optional Dr{Wh0}: how do I then add the menu i created before? or do I just scrap that? Jyhem_laptop: when you configure, tab "module", enter the menu ID Dr{Wh0}: I had created "Main Menu" with WIki, Forums and .. I forget
Ok got it. Jyhem_laptop: look around the tabs and configs. too much to see to tell here Dr{Wh0}: yay.
ok well who ever got my 15$ for the ebooks Ill send another 25 if you update the book : ) Jyhem_laptop: That would be Rick :-) He is here sometimes Dr{Wh0}: Interesting so while in modules page its all WYSIWYG then?
seems kinda odd. Now I have 2 menus one for admin one for users. What is the best way to deal with that if both admin and anon should see forums/wiki? Jyhem_laptop: I usually keep the Admin menu down out of the way, just for admin -: Jyhem_laptop needs to go to sleep. Cheers Dr{Wh0}: thanks Jyhem_laptop RobertPlummer: joined #tikiwiki

marclaporte: Once we start breaking more ground on the new parser, things like this will be much easier. CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03marclaporte * r40970 10/branches/9.x/templates/wiki-plugins/ (2 files): Cosmetic improvements to PluginBigBlueButton marclaporte: maketoc is not a regular plugin, right? arildb: joined #tikiwiki marclaporte: I see no wikiplugin_maketoc.php Jyhem: no, it's not. I think it's a arser feature marclaporte: Some notes for Tiki10: http://dev.tiki.org/Maketoc Jyhem: Do you know what permissions are required in order to use "Group selector" field type ? CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r40971 10/branches/9.x/lib/ (parser/parserlib.php wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_include.php): [FIX] Let only 1 table of contents show when needed RobertPlummer: Jyhem marclaporte :)
maketoc goes bye bye when needed in nested calls to include now.
Now only the parent toc will be shown. Jyhem: You mean the parent maketoc, not the parent toc, I hope. Is that how it worked in Tiki<9 ? RobertPlummer: Did I say toc? Jyhem: "<RobertPlummer> Now only the parent toc will be shown."
a bit confising :-) RobertPlummer: Jyhem only the maketoc returned without being called through {include } is shown.
Sorry, I'm a bit tired of looking at the parser all day. Jyhem: No, I guessed anyway
just making sure.
I never used includes much. Interesting, though marclaporte: Much cleaner! http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-index.php?page=Tiki+Suite+Components Jyhem: Yes, much cleaner ! RobertPlummer rocks RobertPlummer: marc, it looks like the page didn't get updated from the script that removed those entities.
You know what would be easy to do?
Simply run the mysql on the page that is returned from the profile engine when the version of the profile site is less than 9.
marclaporte: Was that page added from a profile/
?
marclaporte: Where did you get that page from?
No I'm wrong, it is messing them up.... Looking into it,.
marclaporte: FIXED! CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r40972 10/branches/9.x/lib/parser/parserlib.php: [FIX] Forgot to add amp to the special chars RobertPlummer: I'm all over this parserlib!
I didn't think that amp was a special char, but it is when coming from the db. Because & weill ALWAYS become & unless it is protected.
Jyhem did you get a chance to see how I setup protected chars now?
Jyhem they are preset, and they just iterate through them when we protect or unprotect them when needed.
So if you find a special char that should be treated different from all the others, add it there. Jyhem: I saw the table with ~STUFF~ :-) neat RobertPlummer: Jyhem line 35 of parserlib Jyhem: and html case and nohtml RobertPlummer: Yea, easiest way to tell the parser to temporarily treat the same chars with care ;) -: Jyhem tries to auto-prefill a group selector field :-( RobertPlummer: With Tracker Query? Jyhem: Yes, make a lot of sense (keep them out of the parser's reach)

With current Tiki CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r40973 10/branches/9.x/lib/ (parser/parserlib.php tikilib.php):
tikiwiki: [FIX] Since mb_stringtolower has better support for other languages, went ahead and migrated over to it in parser lib
tikiwiki: [ENH] mb_stringtoupper didn't exist, and since it was litterally the same
tikiwiki: function as TikiLib::strtolower and needed to be used in parser lib, I
tikiwiki: duplicated and renamed it to strtoupper with the internal calls to strtotupper
tikiwiki: and as well mb_strtoupper and then migrated the parser over to it so that
tikiwiki: languages would be FIXED and stable RobertPlummer: Now Jyhem, I know what you are thinking..... ;)
I'm messing with TIki lib again.
strtolower already existed, and since it has better char set handling I went ahead and added strtoupper, there is no difference in logic other than the plugins they are calling.
jonnyb would surly roll that one back. marclaporte: let's hurry before he comes back! RobertPlummer: marclaporte: lol
It just hit me marclaporte, I'm thinking of ways to make the new parser more flexible.
events! CIA-36: tikiwiki: 03Jyhem * r40974 10/branches/9.x/templates/trackerinput/groupselector.tpl: [FIX] Handle option 'Auto-Assign' RobertPlummer: before plugin parse, after plugin parse, after parser -: Jyhem still has no idea about the purpose of the "Assign to the group " option :-( RobertPlummer: Jyhem do you know a way to ask php how many objects of a type exist at any given time? Jyhem: The "helper" text is: For no autoaassigned field, the user (user selector if exsits or user) will be assigned to the group and it will be his default group. The group must have the user choice setting on. RobertPlummer: Like if new JisonParser_Wiki_Handler(); is created 2 times, I want to know about it. Jyhem: RobertPlummer: no, I am pretty useless to you in OO stuff :-) RobertPlummer: grrr Jyhem: You do that in trunk, I hope ? RobertPlummer: Jison is experimental still, no need to do it in trunk if it doesn't affect anything else but its self.
I can do it in trunk but I'd like to fix a few things before it goes into 9. Jyhem: Oh, I thought that was related to "ways to make the new parser more flexible" RobertPlummer: Good point, it is more along the lines of "Make the new parser be able to output a toc".
Which it can't do right now.
I just thought I'd see how easy it could be made if the right tools were in there.
Jyhem do you need some help with the tracker stuff? Jyhem: You mean my project or debugging Tiki9 ?
Regarding Tiki9, this requires attention: http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=3 RobertPlummer: I get a you are not logged in, is that right?
I will see if I can fix quickly. Jyhem: The thing is, get on http://demo.tiki.org/9x/ and log in. → All is fine until you reach http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=3 which falsely acts as if you are not loggued in. BUT YOU ARE! As you can confirm by clicking the Tiki logo which gets you back to the home page (or hit "back")
My gut feeling is, this is only happening because http://demo.tiki.org/9x/ root is in a subdirectory marclaporte: I get white page: http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-slideshow.php?page=Tiki+Wiki+CMS+Groupware Jyhem: And i'm sorry to report that I need to hit my bed now
by-bye! RobertPlummer: Jyhem looks like a permissions issue.
Bingo. marclaporte: http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-index.php?page=Tiki+Suite+Components -> I still see VoIP & RobertPlummer: No wait, perhaps not.
marclaporte: Did the site get updated since I've posted the fix? marclaporte: yes
just did svn up RobertPlummer: checking marclaporte: bbl RobertPlummer: Jyhem: http://demo.tiki.org/9x/tiki-view_tracker.php?trackerId=3
;P
Still doesn't work all the way, I brought permissions to that of myn and it seems better, but still something odd going on there.
Well I'm going to dinner. See you guys later. Tiki|bot: joined #tikiwiki
