css guru's around, at this time of the day?
I wanted to modify the size of some text from a module, when shown in a side column (if possible), but keep the default size when that module is shown in the midddle of the wiki page
to make some line of text fit in the side column when shown there
is this possible?
(and if so, "how?", of course :-) ) mose: sure it's possible
polom pompom xavi xavi: :-)
hi mose :-) mose: the side columns are #col2 and #col3 xavi: I using this right now: #jtrack-bar { font-size:76%; } mose: but you have #left_moduloe and #right_module too xavi: but this is changing font size also when the timesheet feature (jquery app) is shown in the central column mose: you can just do #left_module #jtrack-bar { .. } xavi: ok, thanks! :-) mose: and same for right_module
with a s xavi: ok, testing it mose: #right_modules xavi: yay, ti works! thanks :-)
s/ti/it
and to say in both columns?
#left_modules #jtrack-bar, #right_modules #jtrack-bar { .. } -: xavi css newbie still, as you can see xavi: yes, it seems to be that syntax (I don't have left modules in my production site, but it should be like this)
mose, btw, how are things going? mose: kindof nice xavi: did you do some chinese-wine already? mose: doing rails stuff now
no I do chinese-tofu-cheese lol xavi: ok, ruby (& ror) seems to be fashin
lol
s/fashin/fashion mose: yes it is
as well as some nodejs thing
very trendy too xavi: nodejs sound "Chinese" to me -: xavi googling for it mose: taht's javascript server-side xavi: ok
like the jison thing that robertplummer implemented, I guess mose: no idea
I'm so lost now
well, almost xavi: a new wiki parser based on server-side js, afaik
experimental in 9x
afaik
and disabled by default mose: sounds bold
it requires some server setup that shared hostong will not be able to afford xavi: mose, do you know that there are some tiki webinars planned?
"jison thing": I think it's converted to php server side from the js-thing parser
as you can see, I didn't understand the details, just got the rough idea about it mose: :)
no idea about webinars xavi: but in those meetings (I definitively suggest you to attend some) some devs exlain their cutting edge developments, roadmaps, googies in the oven ,etc
webinars... letme fetch a url for you...
do you know bbb? mose: yeah I tried that long time ago
but that was not very good xavi: ok, they improved bbb a lot mose: from my perspective xavi: and there is recording already (of sync'ed audio, video, chat,e tc)
webinars: http://tiki.org/Webinars
and next one is.... Tomorrow, btw!
what local time do you have now? mose: gmt+8
not very compatible xavi: ok, that might be a webinar fairly early in the morning...
yes
oh well, about being lost.... I know it's not the best for you, but from the "end user" point of view, you can chronologically review the improvements since tiki 1.10 through the doc pages for each new version:

do you code for android? :-) mose: not really xavi: s/for android/android apps mose: I still hate phones xavi: are you using smartphones?
ah, ok :-) mose: got a blackberry but my use is very limited xavi: ok marclaporte: xavi: can you present a feature for webinar? xavi: and just for curiosity: which OS are you using in your computer/s?
hi marclaporte (late night work, I guess :-) )
marclaporte: a feature in Tiki9?
:-)
like Plugin Convene and/or Plugin Time Sheet? :-) marclaporte: yes, both!
polom mose mose: me ? OS ? I always used debian derivative, like ubuntu or mint
heya marc xavi: maybe PluginTimeSheet is enough for one seminar marclaporte: we are soon hoing to have to delve into NodeJS for this: http://dev.tiki.org/Realtime xavi: plus Convene is not finished yet (to be a good replacement of doodle inside tiki) marclaporte: hoing -> having xavi: mose: ok. and desktop? (still personal curiosity): gnome x, kde 4, kde3, xfce, lxde, pure console :-), others?
or even unity, maybe? mose: cinnamon xavi: oups, that's new to me mose: unity, common, let's be serious -: xavi googling for it xavi: :-) mose: cinnamon or mate marclaporte: bedtime.... xavi: wohooo, sounds nice!: http://www.howtogeek.com/103691/install-linux-mints-new-cinnamon-desktop-on-ubuntu/
