Just installed tikiwiki. for the sole purpose of testing the spreadsheet feature.

to create a spreadsheet
I find plenty of doc on editing and using it, but not how to decaler it in the first place

question about the interface for trackers: normally &cookietab=2 or &show=mod could be added to the url of custom links to point to the edit form for tracker items
in tiki9, the edit form is not in tab 2 but in tab 4 (if comments and attachments are enabled for a tracker)
is there a way to provide a dynamic way to say in a url: "open the tab with the insertiion form"?
mmmm, I already sayed the answer it seems: &show=mod
easy -: xavi is always amazed of the ability to find his own answer when he does the effort to say explicitly the question for others....
fabricius frequently makes the same experience xavi: :-)
oh well, &show=mod doesn't work for tabs in wiki pages... :-/
while cookietab=2 yes
so, I'm still at the beginning... I wish there was a standard way to call the tab with the edit form... regardless of the fact that it's a tracker, or a wiki page with plugin tab where some tab holds the Plugin Tracker interface
anyway minor thing...
when dynamic tracker lists works again through plugin tracker (they don't nowaays in tiki9), we'll make the whole process to go through wiki pages, and solved issue

Primarily on the de/encoding side RobertPlummer: arildb: Yes, I can see more now why we are pushing to use a simplified database storage. ckeditor & wysiwyg is such a touchy interface. arildb: yes RobertPlummer: Jyhem, if we go ahead and convert things, we will need to start writing conversion methods for every type that was stored encoded in the past.
I have written 3, there could be many, I know we need to add tracks in. arildb: I was getting coded content in the editor. The CKEditor will automatically encode/decode content. So, you must make sure that you are complying with that. xavi: left #tikiwiki swehes: joined #tikiwiki
Hello people. Anyone around? ricks99: yes RobertPlummer: ricks99: You around? swehes: Hehehe. RobertPlummer: Jyhem see email about entities please. ricks99: hi RobertPlummer swehes: Now I am. So I want to use the exact same setup of tiki for two websites with different domains and different databases. So backed up the db from the one and applied it to the second. Then copied all the files over.
what files do I need to go in and change to get the new files to read from the new DB? and where in the DB does it reference to the old domain? ricks99: you can manually edit the db/local.php file of new "new" site to add the "new" db info
or, simply re-run tiki-install.php from the new site and re-enter your db info there swehes: ok. Second option seems easier.
Thanks ricks99: in the admin: general, you'll want to change your cookie name/location too, to accurately reflect the "new" site domain
on the "select db info" screen of the installer, simply enter the new info
then you can proceed as an upgrade rodrigoprimo: joined #tikiwiki swehes: So I went into new site and is trying to run the tiki-install.php and I get the notice that I need to remove the lock file. I removed it. And I still get the issue. So I tried something. I went into the old folder and remove the lock file and it now let me run the install script on the old site. ricks99: the lock file on site #1 has no impact on running the installer on site#2 swehes: I know. But somehow the subdomain of the domain is picking up the first old website. ricks99: check your domain configuration. do you have custom reidrects in the htaccess? swehes: good question. Let me check
I just used the standard htaccess that tikiwiki comes with
no special redirects ricks99: how about in your domain manager? swehes: Using ISPconfig ricks99: browser cache? swehes: Hmmm.
