tikiwiki 9: i am wanting to move my MW over to tikiwiki. my main question is that i have a map http://foreclosurepedia.org/reo which populates markers based upon my forms (your trackers). how would I go about this in tw? in mw it is an #ask or #querry from semantic mediawiki. thanx
http://pastebin.com/vrD2GxpL shows the code i use in MW which is pretty short and sweet is it similar in tw I guess is what i am asking/ arildb: fcpd: Have you tried the MediaWiki importer? fcpd: no didn't know much about it. the forms are all in semantic mediawiki which is an extension of mw so i just figured it would be easier to learn how to code in tiki style but i will look at it thanx arildb: I am not sure if the importer can handle such things fcpd: wheres a good place to read on how to display mappoints on a map from tracker data arildb: I am not sure benoitg: joined #tikiwiki JimmyJohn: joined #tikiwiki
i am setting up my first tiki and need to force usernames into a firstname.lastname format (two bits of text with a dot between them). how should i format the regex? i have never written one before.
i have /^[a-z]+[.][a-z]+$/ but it's not requiring the dot fabricius: joined #tikiwiki JimmyJohn: aha! should have been /^[a-z]+.[a-z]+$/

hi
when I use iframe it creates an "iframe" box of a very very small height, how can I increase the size?
if I set the height to e.g. 1000px that doesn't help because it only changes the size "inside" the box, not the size of the box
hmm, ok if I set a fixed height it works if I save it (only the preview was small) arildb: joined #tikiwiki jonnyb: joined #tikiwiki g0th: hi
I would like to have latex support in tikiwiki, what do you recommend? I run the 9.x branch, I saw there were 3 things around: ModFormula, PluginFormula, PluginEquation (where only the last seems to be present in standard tiki wiki)
can anyone enlighten me about the differences resp. what you recommend? jonnyb: hi g0th
sorry, never used it - have seen discussions here about it but never got involved g0th: another question
how do normal user import their google/outlook calendars into tiki wiki?
first off I don't know at all how to import google calendars and in general it seems one needs admin priviliges to import calendars jonnyb: think that's a perennially missing feature - lots of requests but no one's ever coded it g0th: so what about outlook calendars? jonnyb: i've been asked to look at adding CalDAV support for Tiki 10, but not started on it yet
i think mostly you can export tiki calendars, but not import afaik g0th: I saw that you can click "import calendar" but it seems one needs calendar admin rights to do that?!? jonnyb: oh right - could be - it's sort of an admin function g0th: well in the usage case it is not jonnyb: you can apply perms just on a specific calendar though g0th: the question is: how are individual user calendars to be used in tiki wiki
I thought that it works using the "personal calendar" feature
so I made a personal calendar
that way if you add events they should only show up for you but not for everyone
now if I give all the users admin rights to this one personal calendar it is not good ^^
what is the alternative? I manually create a calendar for each user and manually assign the rights each time?
that's way too complicated
also for some strange reason the admin can see events from other users even though they are supposed to be private calendars
hmm besides I can't give individual rights to users
is there a way that users can create their own calendar? jonnyb: sorry - don't know CIA-75: tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r42371 10/branches/9.x/lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_subscribegroup.php: [ENH] subscribegroup: Add param to redirect to (new) home page after default group change
