realising a strange issue here with v9. I use the search function and search for a single keyword and get a list of pages containing m searchphrase. This is good and as expected so far
the result-list shows a snippet of each article
this snippet is the same for each article - which is for sure WRONG
could that be a cache issue? or any other idea where this effect might come from?
---
and what is the object filter in search?
-- Tiki|bot: New Forum Posts: want to buy a vps,and what is the tiki wiki system requirements - http://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=6&comments_parentId=44403 fidel_: q: how is the relecvancy calculated & why is it called 'pertinence' in the setting - and 'relevance' in the actual search? using the same word/tem might make more sense.
btw: at least in our setup the 'relevance' option is almost useless.
Just searched for an exact article name and a cal entry was ranked before that page showing a 3 times higher relevancy then the actual page matching the exact searchphrase
while the cal search result did not even feature that search-string
is that known? Jyhem_laptop: joined #tikiwiki dennmans: joined #tikiwiki CIA-75: tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r42442 10/trunk/templates/ (9 files in 3 dirs):

by mime-type right?
how can I make it such that the mime-type is set correctly? RobertPlummer: polom radek82: joined #tikiwiki jjg0th: anyone?
how do I make it so that when I click on a .docx / .xlsx file in a file gallery, it opens the file as a word resp. excel file instead of a zip file?
I am not sure how it works, is it enough to simply change mime.types for the apache server? dhazel: joined #tikiwiki redflo: left #tikiwiki benoitg: joined #tikiwiki Atmic: joined #tikiwiki
Hi
I'm new to TikiWiki, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer size of the community, so while I've been digging, I haven't found something specific to what I'm trying to accomplish: personal user pages with their own rating history
if I could be pointed in the right direction, I'd be happy to give it a try amette_: RobertPlummer: I get "Fatal error: Access level to WikiPlugin_oohtml::$validate must be public (as in class WikiPlugin_HtmlBase) in /lib/core/WikiPlugin/oohtml.php on line 51" when accessing Admin->General or Admin->Modules
Setting all the attributes to be public fixes that... but I don't dare commit it.... could you have a look please? CIA-75: tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r42455 10/trunk/styles/ (10 files in 2 dirs): [ENH] FiveAlive-lite theme - site secondary menu styling. RobertPlummer: amette_: I will amette_: cool, thanks! :) RobertPlummer: amette_: I believe they need to be public, that is the problem.
I have it fixed locally, but have not committed it yet. amette_: ok... then it would be safe to commit? I didn't dig in too far... but basically having them public shouldn't hurt, I thought RobertPlummer: LP thought it would be a good idea to define public and private vs var.
Yea.
Go head and commit. amette_: alright, will do RobertPlummer: Nice to have a fellow dev in the new parser a bit. amette_: trunk, right? or is that in available in 9.x? RobertPlummer: Well, it is related ;)
trunk amette_: ah, I'm not good enough to really do work on the parser, but when I stumble across something, I'll try to do something... ;) CIA-75: tikiwiki: 03amette * r42456 10/trunk/lib/core/WikiPlugin/oohtml.php: [FIX] Prevent "Fatal Error... must be public.." amette_: Thanks for the help, RobertPlummer! :) Atmic: joined #tikiwiki
Any ideas on the functionality I'm trying to research? Personal userpages with their own article-rating history?
even a point to the right forum, or section of a help file would be helpful amette_: you found the setting about UserPages in Admin->Wiki ?
considering rating... I don't know... but I doubt it that there is some kind of "rating history"... Atmic: Yes, I found the UserPages, and I'm looking through the rating documentation
the rating history, more speicifically
for this wiki: articles are lessons, with a binary "do you understand this lesson" and a rating "rate this lesson" -- ideally,
the user page would have some history of sorts for their own personal ratings
so far, for the binary, i'm looking into the proposal plugin amette: q
