Is there a preference between using the numeric server address when linking to a TikiWiki page on a server (http://77.xxx.xx.xx/tiki-index.php?page=Welcome) as opposed to using the named address when linking to a TikiWiki page on a server (http://acme.com/Welcome)? Which addressing scheme is best practice? Thanks. On a tiki9 site, the menu looks rather plain when configured the way it is done in tiki6.x - please see http://banglafilmsonline.com - I would like it to look like the jqui menu of tiki6.x What should my next step be?
id=43 type=horiz css=y nobox=y notitle=y
Is there something I need to enter in CSS class or Containing Class? goth: deeki: did you try different themes? ^^ goj_killedByISP: joined #tikiwiki coaboa: joined #tikiwiki
Hi switched two installations to svn branches 9.x and after that most editing pages keep complaining "Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29622272) (tried to allocate 19456 bytes) in...." with revision 42603 and memory limit 1024 MB. Any hint?
also: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29622272) (tried to allocate 99653 bytes) in /carsten.aevermann.com/lib/smarty_tiki/block.tabset.php
already diabled all features except jquery-gui, wiki and blog. goth: http://tiki.org/article82-PHP-Memory-Limit-Requirements
could it be related to this: http://dev.tiki.org/item3527 ? coaboa: goth: memory limit via php.ini is 1024 MB (should be sufficient)
its on a shared hosting I also tried to copy php.ini in every affected subdir without luck.
wit 120 MB and version 6.x it ran without any problems HostinatoRigore: joined #tikiwiki

tested svn trunk r42605 but got: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ')' in /htdocs/test.tikiverse.com/lib/parser/parserlib.php on line 2910 coaboa: from clean install
removed lines 2910 to 2913 in lib/parser/parserlib.php and tiki trunk r42605 comes up... HostinatoRigore: joined #tikiwiki jacmoe: joined #tikiwiki lindonb: joined #tikiwiki lphuberdeau: that must be a local change, trunk at that rev has no parse error in that file lindonb: i had the same error on a clean install HostinatoRigore: can not be a local file, as I svn uped a new copy clean db etc. thx anyhow lphuberdeau: my other guess would be that php version is incompatible (trunk requires 5.3), but that is not the case at that line, I don't even see a T_FUNCTION there
actually, that's the issue
can't run trunk on PHP 5.2 lindonb: that explains it for me - my host uses PHP 5.2 lphuberdeau: 5.2 is no longer supported by php.net deeku: joined #tikiwiki
Hello Goth, thanks for responding to my query yesterday: yes, I have tried different themes and the menus look better in the tw6.x themes than they do in tw9 ones. I am, however, stuck with jqui and need help if figuring out how to make the menus look the same across different versions of tiki
Fir your reference (and for others who can help) the site in question is http://banglafilmsonline.com
The summary of the issue is that the superfish menu in tiki 9 looks very different from the one I am used to in tw6.x for the jqui (and other) theme. dhazel: joined #tikiwiki
