In my Admin-Search options page, I don't see any lucene related options [15:59] jonnyb hi skeffling - you probably need to rebuild the lucene index, there should be a link to do that in admin/search (maybe you need to show "advanced" options?) [16:00] skeffling ah! clicking the advanced checkbox gives me lots more options! ha! [16:00] skeffling thanks, I'll carry on looking (I have rebuild index etc), hopefully I'll be a step closer now! [16:02] jonnyb if you have a lot of pages, trackers etc you might need to use the shell utility (if you have shell access on your server) [16:03] skeffling I have shell, I've run rebuild from it - took a few minutes, but didn't display any errors [16:04] skeffling am I right in thinking that the lucene results page would be tiki-searchindex.php, and the mysql search would be tiki-searchresults.php ? [16:04] Bsfez joined #tikiwiki [16:13] jonnyb skeffling: yes, that's right, although a bit confusing! [16:49] jonnyb in php? [16:49] RobertPlummer jonnyb: yup [16:50] jonnyb if the "value" can be the key (and the filename the "value") then you can sort by keys (ksort i think) [16:50] RobertPlummer clone the var, sort, step through giving each value an associated picture, then step through original transferring back the image.... I think I got it. [16:51] RobertPlummer jonnyb: Thanks for the insight, momentary brain cloud. [16:51] jonnyb could be... hope it helps :) [16:58] RobertPlummer jonnyb: Ok here is a tuff one.... What if you need to increment the pictures, the first one always needs to be certain pic, the last once a certain pic, and the middle one a specific pic. No matter if there are 2 keys are 12 keys. [16:59] RobertPlummer dancing with arrays is like the waltz. [16:59] RobertPlummer I hope I don't have to dabble with pi on this one, lol. [17:00] jonnyb ew - so how many pictures? [17:00] RobertPlummer 12 max [17:00] jonnyb and 12 max items? [17:01] RobertPlummer Right. [17:01] jonnyb think i'd do a "look-up array" with how they map, easier than working out an algorithm for it imho [17:01] RobertPlummer look-up? [17:02] jonnyb so for 2 keys, use image 0 and 11, 3: 0, 5 and 11 ... 12 keys: 0,1,2,3,4 etc [17:03] jonnyb basically 12 rules for which ones to use [17:03] RobertPlummer What if you are hebrew? [17:03] RobertPlummer 4,3,2,1,0 [17:03] RobertPlummer It doesn't work doing it that way. [17:03] jonnyb i guess [17:04] jonnyb so have 2 sets of rules, one for each direction [17:04] jonnyb brb [17:04] RobertPlummer lol, ok. [17:06] luciash joined #tikiwiki [17:10] RobertPlummer jonnyb: I believe the technique is similar to that of a heat-map for php. [17:13] jonnyb heat-map? [17:14] RobertPlummer right, you have a min value and a max value, and from there you imply what "color" to use. In this case we don't want a color, but an image. [17:14] RobertPlummer jonnyb: You've never used a heat map? [17:15] jonnyb oh right, yes - sounds like it [17:15] jonnyb don't think so...
