Hello! I just fucked up the Google Analytics by pasting the extend JavaScript code from http://doc.tiki.org/PluginGoogleAnalytics&structure=Documentation+TOC#Since_Tiki3 into the "end of code" text field. The result can be seen here: http://teach.digisus.com/tiki-index.php.
How can I get this code snippet out of the system without being able to access it right now? Direct db access?
Doesn't anyone have a hint for me? TIA.

diadem: digisus: not having luck getting support either, eh?
hopefully one of us will get an answer at some point
digisus: diadem: hm, no. But then it is 1am (in Germany) and the question -is- very specific. Maybe I need to try again tomorrow when more people are around.
Wish you good luck in any case! :-)
diadem: thanks! i tried to ask my questions on the support forums, but the registration model didn't work
not a good first impression
anyway, i'm just still here because my cat feel asleep on me and i didn't want to wake her up.... so good luck and take care :)

hi everyone :)
can someone help me with semantic linking within the wiki pages?
fabricius: hi Tiki-Newb what would be the problem?
Tiki-Newb: hi, so far I made it to implement semantic links in a wiki page. like this: (budget(6000))
and expect i have a few pages about software projects which got these tokens embedded
first question is
how do I define a datatype for that tokens, so the mashine knows it is a number/integer
and the second question is
how do I run a query e.g. I want to know all software projects with a budget > 6000
you would even help me if you can tell me that such things are not implemented yet
do you understand my problem?
fabricius: oh sorry Tiki-Newb had to go afk and forgot to mention - reading now
Tiki-Newb: all right :D
Tiki|bot: joined #tikiwiki
fabricius: where and how those projects are implemented?
-> are this pages in the same Tiki?
-> are they classified by category or what does "6000" means? It looks like a wiki page name.
Tiki-Newb: gave me a second
sandroandrade: joined #tikiwiki
Tiki-Newb: the software projects would be ordinary pages within the wiki ( a wiki-page). they could be classified as e.g. software-project.
I search an ability of semantic links like in semantic media wiki
to search after content with specific criterias
the "page" budget isn't really a page. I read the docu and it said, that would be a token. And I understand it in that way that 600 would be tha value to that token. and that is the reason why i am missing a datatype declaration
And a token is for my understanding a criterion that i can search after while doing a query
In Semantic Media Wiki a query would looke like this: {{#ask: [[Category:software project]] [[end date::<<2013-01-01]]}}
this one is related to the end-date instead of budget

nobody ? :(
dennmans: fraid not
I know you can set semantic links but that is about the extent of my knowledge
Tiki-Newb: same here^^
in Semantic Media Wiki Framework it is very intuitively but there are not any hints or information in TikiWiki :/

fabricius: Tiki-Newb: re ... hmm I *think* the semantic links in Tiki are more relate to "similar pages" and what I understand about your needs would be more a filtering based on categories
Tiki-Newb: If I understand you halfway right and if I remember the docs right, you want to filter classified content
Tiki-Newb: I guess, that the feature naming is different between Tiki and Mediawiki and I think, that the use of categories is quite based on different thinking
Tiki-Newb: think for example about the user and permission management - completely different thing here and there
Tiki-Newb: semantic links are even more powerfull than categories. While you were absent I read the tickets relating Semantic at the development page again and found out that this opportunity is not realized yet
k
fabricius: Tiki-Newb: ah ok - so maybe you can get a bit forward with categories
I think the difficulty is less to use the feature, but more how to organise categories for a) permissions b) navigation and c) classification
you can use categories for many things
and maybe semantic links as you understand (and as you say are mentioned at the dev-site) can be added later on
just would have to prepare somehow
Tiki-Newb: ok , thanks so far :)

hello agian
may anyone of you explain backlinks to me?
fabricius: joined #tikiwiki
and then you have a "backlink-plugin" or "backlink-module" activated, then you will be automatically shown (on page C) links to page A and to page B
those links to A and B are the backlinks
"the links back to the pages which are referring to the actual page"
clear?
so I have to correct my first sentence:
a backlink is a link that points back to the content, which is referring to the content you are actually viewing

I just installed a new version of Tiki on Windows 2008 R2 with PHP for IIS (and a linux mysql server). I get the default installation screen when I enter but as soon as I log in as admin I'm told I don't have permission to access the page. I checked the mysql database and it looks like user 1 (admin) is in the administrators group in the user_usergroups table. any idea what could be causing the above error?

diadem_: fabricius: Don't suppose you can help me out with an install issue i'm having since new registration for the forums is down?
fabricius: hi diadem
diadem_:
what's the problem?
diadem_: if you mean the community websites: the registration is not down. did you register recently? maybe you have been filtered out by our spam-filter by accident
diadem_: fabricius: sorry for the delay
fabricius: np
diadem_: fabricius: When i went to tiki.com and tried to register it said my e-mail address was invalid, i didn't enter capacha (there was no capacha to enter), and said i didn't have permissions to add
fabricius: I am lagging aswell today ;-)
oops
diadem_: the issue I had originally was that in my own new install the admin user doesn't have permissions to anything. I took a quick look at the database and it looks like user1 is in the admin group but it still doesn't have permissions to even view the home page
fabricius: diadem_: I just tested the registration and it works
cannot reproduce, sorry
diadem_: let me try again
did you use https://tiki.org/tiki-register.php ?
did you use chrome? was the a capatcha image? are there some domains (gmail, etc) that are restricted?
fabricius: I did use tiki-register.php, yes and firefox and there was a captcha - which domain you are using?
diadem_: I copied and pasted the exact url. odd
fabricius: ahh - seems to be no captcha in my chrome aswell
diadem_: i know capatcha is sometimes fidgity about the exact domian name, though...
firefox it is, then
also, you mind if i message you the url for my tiki page with the admin username to see if it the error happens to you as well?
fabricius: kk -> query
btw: which version of chrome do you have?
diadem_: lemem check.. i've got it to autoupdate
fyi, can see the capatcha on firefox :D
21.0.1180.83 m
fabricius: in my chromium 18 there is a captcha
in chrome 21.0.1180.89 not
diadem_: have a suspision that it may be automaticly locked becuase it's "insecure content"
fabricius: by chrome?
diadem_: yes
fabricius: to your login admin problem:
diadem_: and "it" being capatcha
fabricius: kk
it is a fresh installation?
diadem_: completly
fabricius: didn't you have to change pw after enter and lock?
diadem_: can drop the database and delete the folder if needed
yeah
then i changed it back
fabricius: hmmm
should better use 12345 or so
lol
ok
s.th went wrong
kind of locked out
there are two prosedures to fix
diadem_: now the first time i ran it it was under diffrent sql settings and didn't create any rows... then id ropped and re-created. wondering if php may have timed out during install
k
fabricius: a) in the database
b) in the installer
diadem_: k
fabricius: in this case I would first try the installer method
diadem_: brb
fabricius: server-> tikiroot-> db/lock <-delete this file
kk
then run the installer and klich through until you find an option to recreate the admin
try that first pls

will do.. remoting into server, deleting file, then will crecreate admin
I have to ask.. are you one of the devs, or just very helpful?
will it matter if i reset the db password? I don't remember it
ah, nevermind, looks like the password is stored in plain text in the db folder
RobertPlummerMob: Jyhem , Jyhem_laptop: Hey bud, I'm testing the new parser, I'm getting mixed results with the initial homepage data vs an unedited save of the same data. Wondering if you have much experience with encoding, which I think is the probem?
Jyhem, when I go to compare them, I get that they are identical each time.
Using mb_detect_encoding I get ASCII on both.

hi RobertPlummerMob
RobertPlummerMob: fabricius: yo
fabricius: are you working on the actual parserlib.php?
RobertPlummerMob: jison parser
fabricius: ah different one
RobertPlummerMob: :)
why?
fabricius: getting a parserlib.php error in a module menupage visible for anonusers, for ex. when trying to login via tiki-login_src.php
a fresh pre-10 svn up of a nearly productive site (actually running to add the content for start)
s.b. must have the courage to test Trunk on small production sites :-D
RobertPlummerMob: :)
What line is the error on?
fabricius: it's my own one, so no harm to anybody
88
RobertPlummerMob: checking...
What is the error?
fabricius: mom
RobertPlummerMob: mom?
one moment?
fabricius: jep
rehi

the error is visible publicly and exposing the original XXXXXXed number
and it appears in a menupage module
I find that strange
but just a little bit
:-)
RobertPlummerMob: is there a stack trace?
fabricius: ^
fabricius: what is that?
an array?
i have ajavascript running on the HomePage, but the error appears from different pages aswell
RobertPlummerMob: new Info: when the error appears, then parts of the wikisyntax are unparsed
RobertPlummerMob: can you edit the file?
fabricius: headings appear as code, but link works
yes, I can

fabricius: yes I can
RobertPlummerMob: open it up, go to line 88
fabricius: a sec, I go there

Let me know what happens
fabricius: RobertPlummerMob: the error disappeared
RobertPlummerMob: Does the parser run somewhat correct?
fabricius: I guess this is a fix to be committed
RobertPlummerMob: Make sure the parser runs right.
fabricius: I do not know, how he runs, but the error is gone ;-)

RobertPlummerMob: commit
fabricius: you did or you will?
or you mean I should?
btw.: I need to know how to solidly integrate a jquery script into test-trunk - maybe into Trunk lateron
RobertPlummerMob: fabricius: looks like you did.
fabricius: no I did not
RobertPlummerMob: what does it to?
fabricius: THen do it
fabricius: ok
the script is a tag cloud
one or different colors, or images with tag-weight feature
see here: http://wikiforyou.eu - just a simple version of it - I implemeted it this evening, but not yet as jquery version
I didn't get there and finally I had to use the standalone javascript version just to be able to demonstrate it (and I need some decent content :-P
it is from here and under the LGPL v3: http://www.goat1000.com/tagcanvas.php
with icons it looks awesome
under the first example on this site there are a few buttons - one switches to images
RobertPlummerMob: The script needs to go into lib/jquery that is the lib
The script to call it should go in lib/jquery_tiki/tiki-jquery.js
It doesn't always have to go into tiki-jquery.js if it isn't needed globally.
fabricius: ah there I was stuck
I did alright put the script into lib/jquery, but nothing into lib/jquery_tiki
and there is only one script
and I did not get it running on the page
anyway - that's why I ask ;-)
when we would include the script we would also need some wikiplugin for it I'd say
for the internet explorer compatibility (<9) there is another additional script, which has an apache lizence (it seems so) ... would have to check if that's Tiki compatible
RobertPlummerMob: Browser detection is usually a bad idea, fyi.
Not always full-proof.
foolproof
fabricius: yes, but with the "new" CSS3 and HTML5 we might fall back in old days, if we want to use stuff
I tried a bit of CSS3 effects, but IE and Opera fucked half of them in a way, that I simply could not use them
what's about twisting and turning round edged and gradiented menus and boxes, if half the users see just awkward black fields or scattered screens?
