fidelhi - my collegue has overworked the translation file for german - and did according to him some fixed to the english texts as well. At that point he realized that creating X needed accounts to be able to submit back code to the tiki project is eating much time - and he stopped. is there an option to commit back those language-file changes to the team or is 'having access to the tiki repos' the only option?
i do know other projects are using simple translation interfaces like transiflex or similar

well basically my colleguae just told me that the entire commit-rules / workflow seems to difficult for him ... i was just willing to give the information one step firther
he gave up trying to get started being able to commit ...and my impression was: damn thats a pity if you loose ppl who - like in his case - are doing translation for years in several projects
so if anyone is willing - i could easily forwards his translation file per mail or similar
[15:31]
mickeytickeyah, ok found it...had to activate wysiwyg in https://localhost/tiki/tiki-admin.php?page=wiki [15:42]

mickeytickeyooook, the wysiwyg doesnt work very smooth... you cant format styles back to "Normal" as it seems.
but for now its ok
bye, see you have fun :)
[16:10]
amettefidel: back then one of the unwritten rules was that "either you commit or you don't" not via third parties - so he should really get commit rights (makes it also much easier for him to later on continue with committing new translations, etc.)
the 3 Rules are not that complex (compared to many, many other open source projects) and the workflow he only needs to get in, if he wants to code stuff that has the potential to break things
I hope we don't loose too many people due to that... our rules and barriers are the lowest in the industry to ensure exactly the opposite!

EO_k this is weird
using Spreadsheets, I put a wiki link into a cell
https://www.hamwan.org/t/tiki-view_sheets.php?sheetId=1
When the page loads, the wiki link is actually clickable for a split second
then the screen keeps rendering and the ability to click the link vanishes
anyone know how to make the link clickable?
(the link is in E1, the "Radio Modem" cell)

EO_marclaporte: there's a little parsing on/off button at the bottom of the spreadsheet. When I toggle it, it switches between showing the wiki code (non-parsed) and the actual "Radio Modem" label (but without hyperlink). So I think that part is done properly.
but if I edit the Spreadsheet properties ("Configure" tab), the checkbox for "Wiki Parse Values" is unchecked. I can check it, click Save, but when I go back into the "Configure" tab, it's still showing as unchecked. It's like that isn't saved.

marclaporterefizul: If you can find an example of an existing FOSS solution that runs in PHP/MySQL, we'll integrate in no time. The problem is that all the things I found make deployment tricky [23:41]
refizulah - thx. This looks well enough for the purpose. [23:41]
RobertPlummermarclaporte: That looks like an issue with modules, which I've not tested extensively.
marclaporte: I want to be able to create module and plugins in realtime dynamically and test them that way.,

refizulmarclaporte: I keep my eyes open. [23:43]

That may be part of it.
