refizul: xavi was probably right - feature isn't implemented yet
marclaporte: I'll write my summarized opinion about SSL but I need to check a few background details about cookie setting and browser handling first.
I discovered different behaviour of FF and Chrome regarding ".example.com" cookies and security model. This affects intertiki. fabricius: refizul: ah this info passed my mind, sorry ... in history!!! I am afraid, this is not implemented, yes - xavi is right
refizul: why you'd nee to hide in history? refizul: fabricius: reason / usecase is a political NGO fabricius: but why you would unreveal the history to people, who should not see the contributors? refizul: some people don't want to participate if it can be discovered in the future what they do know
the registration is open, everyone can see almost everything -- it's an open community fabricius: refizul: so you would have to set, that the contribution would not be saved first hand refizul: actually this feature is implemented/running with a Mediawiki plugin. I don't know who coded it.
fabricius: it should be a user's choice whether his username or "anonymous" is logged to history fabricius: refizul: if that is important/necessary for the project, it has to be coded, if not yet existing refizul: fabricius: yes, one more for the todo list fabricius: refizul: I am not arguing or so, if it makes sense for your project, but I think for a general todo list it should be s.th. for more than a specific project refizul: with a look to the todo list - I can cancel vacation 2015
I think it would be a feature with could be given back to the project if it worked fabricius: imho this specific feature is more a feature request and nothing for the todo list for the website revamp refizul: oh - misunderstanding - I didn't mean revamp with todo list fabricius: ah your personal one
sry refizul: "todo list" is my generic expression for the place where it belongs
feature request is the precise one fabricius: do you know webftp?
oh no
net2ftp i mean refizul: net2ftp? No - but I'm not close to anything related to ftp fabricius: but where you do not have SVN
finally I will have to go bacḱ to lftp lindonb: joined #tikiwiki Tiki|bot: Info: Next Tiki Webinar to be held on October 18 - http://info.tiki.org/article203-Next-Tiki-Webinar-to-be-held-on-October-18 refizul: I discovered tiki.org to set a cookie __utmb but the other *.tiki.org instances do not. Maybe this is related to login timeout.
hm - no - cookie timeout, but still logged in goj_killedByISP: joined #tikiwiki mlaporte: joined #tikiwiki refizul: there is something odd with themes.t.o fullscreen mode and cookies - sometimes it works, sometimes not
I didn't notice such a strange effect on dev.t.o or doc.t.o marclaporte: Is full screen mode available on all sites? refizul: not info.t.o, but community, dev and doc and some minor ones maybe
the fullscreen problem: http://themes.tiki.org/Faulkner
the fullscreen feature at themes doesn't work anymore now?!
and the CSS concept is different, at least three versions: 1) themes 2) info 3) dev, doc --- it looks different when someone uses konqueror
info seems the same as in FF and Chrome, themes is at top monocolored and dev / doc are rectangle half colored with white at left side marclaporte: joined #tikiwiki refizul: something is wrong with edit buttons on https://doc.tiki.org/Installation
the edit button right to headline of section foo will not edit section foo but the next following section bar
The problem seems not to be available at the beginning, it starts here: https://doc.tiki.org/Installation#File_and_Folder_permissions
this is due to: {INCLUDE(page="File and folder permissions")}{INCLUDE}
I amplified the problem by editing "File and folder permissions". The include/edit behaviour should be checked. I need to add a feature to the tiki quiz module to select x questions at random from an entered set of y questions. Remaining functionality of the quiz module stays the same. Is there anyone who could make this modification on contract? If so, let me have an email address and we could this over email.
