any UI Devs in here?
does anyone have a problem with me creating a new "tiki-init.php" with a couple of global functions for use before Tiki has been installed?
... am looking for a means of fixing the (current blank) output for "about.php" ...
planning to move the createPage function from "tiki-install.php" to "tiki-init.php" so that it can be used by "about.php" as well arildb: joined #tikiwiki luciash: kstingel: about.php is just for doxygen. it redirects to index.php so it should not be blank output Tiki-KGB: tikiwiki 03arildb r44490 10trunk/lib/core/Search/ResultSet.php
tikiwiki [FIX] Avoid printing title first in search results kstingel: ahh, ok, will leave as is then :) luciash: it should display either that tiki is not setup - fix dirs perms first - or show tiki installer kstingel: will test it on a "new" Tiki ... I don't have one I haven't setup yet -- I have about 7 Tiki's running locally lol luciash: good, i have 20, heheh kstingel: while I think of it ... is it OK to run tests for Tiki through the same test DB, or should each Tiki have it's own tests DB?
I have more on other machines, but am fighting with Windon't today, so only the 7 lol luciash: when testing only minor things and looks, it is ok to run on 1 db, but expect tiki-admin yelling about db upgrade
when testing extensively it is better to have correct db cloned and upgraded to match the tiki version to test properly kstingel: will create one for each branch then ... that way, can run trunk + API-trunk tests against same DB and each of branches can have own tests DB so tiki-admin remains happy ...
last thing anyone wants is a cranky tiki-admin ... might boot me lol luciash: :)
i noticed one thing while you test your user branch for APIdocs: @package TikiWiki, sometimes @package Tikiwiki... is it on purpose ? why not Tiki only ? or empty ?
it is a bit inconsistent (with official name) arildb_: joined #tikiwiki Tiki-KGB: tikiwiki 03kstingel r44491 10users/kstingel/API-trunk/about.php

luciash: ... and Jenkins and phpDoc were having fights ... am using phpDoc directly now, not passing through Jenkins luciash: cool kstingel: would creating an XSL mockup of fivealive for use by phpDoc (to retain look and feel) be a breach of copyright?

how can I create links between articles in order to be able to navigate related articles afterwards?
Directional links? sandroandrade_: joined #tikiwiki marclaporte: joined #tikiwiki kstingel: not sure what's gone wrong, but after running the security checker and viewing the output, I tried to access admin/include_general.php directly ...
instead of being re-directed in tiki-index.php as expected, I'm getting a Smarty debug page with a fatal error caused by not finding tiki-setup.php
^^ the redirect to index snippet was missing from include_general.php (although the comment was there) -- I pasted it in from another page pedor: joined #tikiwiki kstingel: partially solved the issue ... webroot was reading from a corrupted co ... I wasn't even testing the Tiki I've been editing (which explains why the redirect didn't work) marclaporte: joined #tikiwiki kstingel: if I comment out the redirect though (to imitate an inclusiuon call) - the error remains, I'm not sure if it appears on later pages in the list (but previous admin/include_x.php pages have worked fabricius: joined #tikiwiki jonnyb: hi kstingel - having a quick look at admin/include_general.php now, not sure i follow what's wrong...
my copy (in trunk) has the check_script call which looks ok to me kstingel: I don't either .... I tried adding "../" before the filename, to make it relative to the calling file, but it still couldn't find the file ...
and at present my reinstallation is breaking on the final step of install jonnyb: how do you mean "running the security checker"? kstingel: jonnyb: doc/devtools/securitycheck.php
ran thru cmd at root of site, as per instruction, then opened the resulting file in browser
was stepping through the links in first list to see what I was able to open when error occured jonnyb: see what you mean about admin/include_general.php - i get WSoD
looks like $access->check_script won't work in nested dirs
which makes it a bit useless as it's almost always relevant in lib files etc
have to go for a while, maybe bbl kstingel: how many queries should there be when replacing the DB in trunk? ... using INNoDB
.. I got 882, and no permissions on Tiki (can't change password, and feature_wiki is disabled) lphuberdeau: you mean when updating? that varies a lot depending on where from and to you are upgrading changi: joined #tikiwiki redflo: joined #tikiwiki manmi: joined #tikiwiki kstingel: lphuberdeau: not updating ... replacing the old DB with a fresh one
traced the issue ... the tiki-secdb_XX.sql isn't running in the installer
after dropping all tables in the DB so there was NO old data to cause a problem
I re-ran tiki-install.php ... as expected, it found my local.php file and discovered the database was empty (no upgrade option)
upon trying to enter Tiki, I see this message:
