<br> I am trying to install LTS 9.3 and it says I only have 64MB for PHP memory. My site will be a small one at first. Is it worth an attempt to install it anyway?
<br> I had so many demands in the last weeks to my hosting provider that I want to wait a bit before asking for more memory and probably a newer PHP version for Tiki10.
luciash: <u>nilsge</u>: yep, for small Tiki site it usually works but when you grow up in size u will need 128M
nilsge: I can ask my provider then
luciash: <u>nilsge</u>: sometimes host allows custom php.ini in site root
nilsge: that is not the case here
   luciash: i see
nilsge: I asked him for one month (3 mails including the initial. All polite and patient) to install a mailing list server and yesterday I got the mail that it was installed and it was *drumroll* Majordomo from 1998
   <br> the version from 1998
   luciash: lol
   redflo: left #tikiwiki
nilsge: well it works, but it is a differen category than GNU mailman. The forms/subscription interface is horrible. It is horrible for mailman as well, but this is worse. So I wanted to bypass it and create my own email forms with Joomla yesterday. Turned out that simply task is impossible and you need to download extra modules
<br> most of them cost money. The 3 free that I tried did not work or were complete packages that sent already formated mails.
<br> Now I am back to tiki :)
<br> Are these critical (install)? Operations failed: 14 SQL queries. http://pastebin.com/hSxVvPqZ
luciash: wow, index command denied, well, not critical unless you want to use site wide search i think
nilsge: is that something to report to my host?
luciash: if you will need to index stuff for search, then you will need that
   nilsge: ok, thanks
