anybody else noticed that "Use simplified email format" no longer works as so as advertised in the description of that checkbox ? (Edit Tracker > Notifications)
arildb: luciash: I am not sure if it's the same thing, but I had problems getting notified on tracker changes in 10.x ... but haven't had time to recheck it for a while
luciash: arildb: the notifications come, just there is no Subject and sender e-mail of the user is not used
arildb: as advertised
arildb: luciash: so maybe a different thing I experienced

jonnyb: hi arildb - been using ckeditor4 without really noticing so far - good job! thanks :)
arildb: hi jonnyb
One annoying problem is left. The editor inserts extra lines when it is opened (in WYSIWYG HTML mode). Have you seen that?
should say "when the editor is opened"
Bsfez: joined #tikiwiki
arildb: jonnyb: Integrating the inline editor may not be a big job (if the scope is limited to wiki pages)
jonnyb: nice - maybe start with the wysiwyg plugin? it sort of does that already but in a rather clunky way (i seem to remember)
would be a good place to experiment first i would have thourhg
thought
arildb: An experimental brach for inline editing is probably needed. It may be more complicated trying to limit it to the wysiwyg plugin
the limit of the editing is set by a div-sope id. Using 'page-data' will make all wiki pages have an active inline editor
there is also another attribute which controls if a div is editable or not
Then we are missing a save button for the inline editor toolbar
Otherthan that it may be possible to use mostly existing code (or so I hope)
permissions may also be an issue

jonnyb: sorry arildb - distracted...
wouldn't we need to set up some ajax services for this? save wiki page (and plugin edit could do with it too)
whatever it is i shouldn't really even be thinking about it for a week or two... :)

jonnyb: does anyone know how setup.sh works these days? apart from the old "fix" mode
is there a standalone mode anymore? (doesn't look like it)
arildb: jonnyb: No standalone mode afaik
jonnyb: there used to be one - with a -n option according to changi's dogwood script
arildb: jonnyb: sorry, I though you were talking about the ckeditor....multi-tasking a bit off track :-|
jonnyb: tee her :) know what you mean...

luciash: arildb: what u mean "including content" ?

arildb: I am looking for a facebook style forum, which can be plugged into a wiki page
luciash: arildb: ah, u mean something like we have for articles or blog posts... hmmm, iirc, we do not have one for forums
arildb: yes
ricks99: arildb: if you have RSS enabled for the forum, can you display the feed. it *does* include the full text of each post
arildb: ricks99: I have not tried out the RSS option. Thanks for the tip
luciash: arildb: maybe you could use the LIST plugin too
arildb: luciash: yes, I was looking at the LIST plugin. Seems to require a bit more styling effort
luciash: arildb: not much ;) u need just title of the post, date, username and content, don't u ?
arildb: luciash: I don't know. Haven't really used the LIST plugin much before..
has Tiki changed the way it handles symlinking at all? ... I think I've finally worked out the source of my 'broken Tiki' on Windows
arildb: kstingel: Does Windows support symlinks?
kstingel: when I had a stale trunk export running on server, all worked as expected ... when I swapped to a symlinked folder sop I could test with most current trunk .. Tiki and Windon't declared war
arildb: Windows 7 Pro does

kstingel: have a free internal partion (on another internal drive) that I can move the server to so I can test a 'same drive' scenario ... and can also run an 'internal vs external' test
... just means waiting for a fresh co of trunk to complete on internal drive -- not going to risk just copying old co across, because there could be a prob with the co
hmm .... while I'm at it ... will run a 'fully external' test ... XAMPP + Tiki (co + symlink to server root) on a Passport drive
