https://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//zukakakina.com/tikitrunk&w=768&h=1024&a=22 Anzhe: greetings! chibaguy: Hi Anzhe ;-)
^^ Tiki trunk version using bootstrap.css (BS3rc1) instead of "classic" Tiki layout CSS.
Or go directly to http://zukakakina.com/tikitrunk
Just a simple first step so far, but gratifying.
But Tiki trunk is Tiki trunk: the site just now lost its stylesheets. ;-) hhm: joined #tikiwiki chibaguy: Well, Opera thinks they're lost. Firefox is still ok. hhm: Are there any release notes for 9.6? In the README I found a pointer to http://tiki.org/ReleaseNotes96, but there is nothing. I'd like to know what changed before I upgrade. ahmed_: joined #tikiwiki redflo: joined #tikiwiki chibaguy: joined #tikiwiki
hhm, the changelot is here: http://sourceforge.net/p/tikiwiki/code/46982/tree/branches/9.x/changelog.txt if you want to check that.
changelot -> changelog (I'm not sure if a lot changed. ;-) ) ahmed_: hi
any one here can answer me??? Anzhe: what's your question mate? ahmed_: tiki wiki support Arabic and Italian lang??
? Anzhe: checking, one moment
http://i18n.tiki.org/Status
Arabic has a translation rate of 2.29%
Italian is at 12.23%
text input should work fine
those percentages are regarding menu names and documentation and such ahmed_: how i change the site to arabic Anzhe: are you using Tiki Wiki 11?
if yes, go to Admin Home > i18n > Default language
Arabic is the second option on the dropdown list chibaguy: joined #tikiwiki ahmed_: good
can i have any learning videos to learn tiki wiki?? hhm: @chibaguy, thanks for the url. Looks like it's been written by Sir Change-a-lot. xavi: joined #tikiwiki Anzhe: joined #tikiwiki xavi: doc.t.o down?

doc.t.o back up & running?
(the sonner I report, the sooner it becomes responsive?)
yes, nextdoc.tiki.org back up and running again (temporary mysql issues fixed by changi's magic)

polom ricks99: polom xavi xavi: hi ricks99!
ricks99: regarding your question in the list: hosting solutions for dedicated server for Tiki(s). In my case I contracted a local company, which resells virtual machines from the Big companies, and they adapt the hardware to my needs as time passes ricks99: thanks. got a client who is ramping up and will definately outgrow shared hosting xavi: I wonder if you want to directly contract with the big guys, or have some smalles company in the middle, with still very decent prices for good hardware ricks99: would rather deal with middle. better service xavi: yes, that's my opinion/experience
I guess the better is that you find a middle-company from your State (Connecticut???) or area (in my opinion, the close the better, in some cases) ricks99: i dont' think lcation matters too much. client is in California xavi: ok ricks99: thanks for the info! xavi: depending on your plans for the future, you might be interested in getting a virtual private server (let's say, a full linux OS with root access for you) and setup an ISPConfig3 environment for you ( https://doc.tiki.org/ISPConfig3 ), so that you can create accounts (sftp, ssh, etc) for your clients (whoever need it) while keeping their space private regarding your other clients in the same server (ssh jails)
I've tried a few free software control panels over the last 3 years, and ISPConfig3 seems to be the best compromise between easyness of use and basic features needed for Tiki consultants. Plus installation on Ubuntu 12.04 seems to be quite robust (if you are not afraid of playing with a linux console)
I'm using it in 2 servers, which are not a full load yet, but infraestructure seems to be ready for that.
Ok, on another hand, question open to anyone who can help: ...
... I need to know how to fetch from a wiki page with a plugin and itemId=N in the url, the timestamp of a last modification of a tracker item N
Jyhem_: any clue? ^
rodrigoprimo: are you around with your tiki knowledge ? :-) ricks99: xavi: i beleive you can use js or jq to parse the current URL and change for pattern "itemId=###" xavi: he he, ricks99, what I need is not the ###, but the timestamp (time when the item was last modified) rodrigoprimo: xavi: yes, i'm here. direct from san francisco :) ricks99: once you have the itemId, you can simply use {TRACKERLIST} to display the item name and last updated time rodrigoprimo: xavi: how can i help you? xavi: mmm, I see ricks99, maybe trackerlist is the way to go (looking at its internals again; I got lost thre the other day)
rodrigoprimo: nice! (travelling is always nice! :-). I'm stuck in a way to improve PluginR
rodrigoprimo: pluginR nowadays checks if there has been a change in a tracker item attachment (when in a pretty tracker environment: wiki page with itemId=N in the url)...
if no change, nor any change in the plugin body or params, then pluginR serves cached content
however, I need PluginR to look for changes in any field of the tracker item, and not just the file attachment, to trigger a new run of the plugin and skip the cached version
so I understood that what I need to obtain in PluginR is the timestamp of the tracker item last modificacion
and that changed, then produce a new run of the script. If that didn't change, then use the cached R output from the last run with same params and values in the tracker item
rodrigoprimo: does this make sense for you?
so I presume I need to add something around lines lines 306 and 323 of http://sourceforge.net/p/tikiwiki/code/46164/tree/mods/trunk/wiki-plugins/r/lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_rr.php Tiki|bot: Recent Bug: - Just Testing show.tiki.org - http://dev.tiki.org/item4615 xavi: rodrigoprimo and Jyhem_: I tried with http://pastebin.com/UbbU4EtY , but seems that I'm missing something, since I get nothing in the $tracker_info (like was being used in plugin tracker list) rodrigoprimo: xavi: the variable $trackerId has a valid tracker id value?
xavi: maybe it is empty. have you checked that? xavi: rodrigoprimo: yes, that's what I was checking right now, good catch Telesight: joined #tikiwiki xavi: rodrigoprimo: yes, you are right, no value... rodrigoprimo: xavi: i haven't forgot about daily reports changes you asked me. it is still on my list. i hope to be able to work on that this month. last two months were really busy. i came to san francisco to attend the wordcamp (the wordpress version of a tiki fest :)). i will be back to brazil by the end of this week and i hope to be able to check what you asked me to do. xavi: I added a few autoquery args (I've never used them, but they were being used in trackerlist): http://pastebin.com/awbUKfzE Tiki|bot: Recent Bug: - Just Testing show.tiki.org - http://dev.tiki.org/item4616 xavi: however, still no value for $trackerId, $tracker_info, etc
rodrigoprimo: daily reports. Ok, they will be very welcome by the beginning of the new course in september onwards, etc rodrigoprimo: xavi: ok, i will try my best to do this changes before the end of this month.
xavi: $_REQUEST['itemId'] is not the tracker id? xavi: rodrigoprimo: how can I dislpay the contents of the array, if the echo of a variable auto_query_args produces: "auto_query_args: Array"
? rodrigoprimo: xavi: use var_dump() xavi: ok, thks
rodrigoprimo: ok, the array contains trackerId: "0 => string 'trackerId' (length=9)"
how do I extract that value?
"var_dump($auto_query_args['trackerId']);" produces "NULL" rodrigoprimo: joined #tikiwiki xavi: ok, I didn't get it today... maybe I'll try again in next days
