Polatouche: about committing some code, is Tiki-devel the right place to discuss ? marclaporte: Polatouche: sure
I will add your commit access now Polatouche: OK!
Thank you marclaporte: Polatouche: done: https://sourceforge.net/u/polatouche/
biggest question is usually https://dev.tiki.org/Where+to+commit Polatouche: Thank you, I'll read that.
In the table in the Dashboard paragraph: I want to commit to: 12x - Commit first to NA marclaporte: yup, just commit to 12.x
and the semi-automatic merge system will get your code into trunk (for 13.x)
Polatouche: I will update page, there is a little mistake Polatouche: What is the semi-automatic merge system ? Is the code reviewed before the commit ?
I don't want to break something ;) marclaporte: hehe
how many lines of code are you changing? Polatouche: 12.1 is the current stable branch now ? marclaporte: yes
Polatouche: the code is reviewed after you commit, as in a wiki
Tiki is the wiki way to make software :-) Polatouche: :)
So I'll fire some question on the devel list about the changes I want to do. marclaporte: https://dev.tiki.org/Semi-automatic+merging+period is a script to take your 12.x changes and merge them into trunk. Try to make your changes atomic and avoid cosmetic things like indenting
yes, dev list is the place for that
no answer is tacit consent Polatouche: I need answer ;) marclaporte: We are currently between 12.0 and 12.1 and any commits on 12.x will be in 12.1 within 1-2 weeks
hehe, ok
you in France? Polatouche: Yes Alpes de Haute Provence ;) snow actually 30 cm ... -: marclaporte googles Alpes de Haute Provence
marclaporte confirms having no recollection of having been there :-) Polatouche: ;) marclaporte: Jyhem is in Strasbourg
and joelobrecht is not too far as well :-) Polatouche: And you ? marclaporte: Montréal Polatouche: I've been there marclaporte: along with lphuberdeau and sipherdee Polatouche: So you're speaking french ;) marclaporte: y espanol tambien Polatouche: ;) marclaporte: maybe half the people in this room can also speak French Polatouche: J'ai travaillé au Latini pour mettre 2 restos en réseau... marclaporte: amette_ is the funniest to listen to in French.... Polatouche: Good: when I'll have a problem writing in english I can replace with a french sentence ;) marclaporte: Le Latini est près de chez moi :-)

for some reason, in current Tiki12.x code (as in current Tiki 9.x code), PluginTracker does not preload the default values in dropdowns :-/ (the tracker itself works fine to insert data, pre-selecting the default values, but not when using PluginTracker in a Wiki page)
I'll hopefully reproduce it somewhere else easily within the next hour or so (planning to create a profile out of that tracker & page in that site where I got it reproduced) Tiki|bot: New Forum Posts: [Tikiwiki-cvs/svn] SF.net SVN: tikiwiki:[49626] trunk - http://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=26&comments_parentId=51027 redflo: joined #tikiwiki Tiki|bot: joined #tikiwiki luciash: polom

I have a problem I believe is related to LDAP integration on our Wiki server
The Exchange server was migrated last week-end
After that we started getting http 504 gateway error messages when attempting to login to the Wiki pages
Initially, we could actually push the back button on the web browser after having received the 504 error
but now that is not an option
The former administrator of Wiki informed me that perhaps I could change or disable the Exchange integration
however, we have no access to the admin web pages. Changes will have to be done directly in the mysql database
Does anybody have an idea as to what I can do?
One oddity I can mention as well is that the 504 error messages would appear whether I provided an AD account to login or if I provided a Wiki locally defined login dabright: joined #tikiwiki Guest93418: Hi,
do you happen to know about LDAP integration in tikiwiki? Guest93418: gateway 504 error seems to be more the server setup related error though Guest93418: the problem is that I cannot access the admin web site at all
Probably I will need to access the mysql database to perform changes, I believe
locally defined logins (not AD logins) do not work, either

[FIX]Fix the start button in the Tiki Setup, to be consistent with the new order to setup screens. First profiles, then admin wizard. robertplummer: I just committed a fix for register member payment in trunk, and I'm curious if it should be backported to Tiki 12. SRTracker: What exactly does Tiki Wiki do to files that are uploaded to a gallery (ones that are saved in a directory, not in the db)?
I noticed there is some name garbling, I guess to allow for multiple files with the same name
I also noticed that the files themselves are very slightly altered. Like I uploaded an image, and if I FTP the resulting file back to my machine and try to open it, it sees it as corrupt
Pretty much same file size though. Is this to prevent the execution of binaries? robertplummer: Hi all (and xavi) SRTracker: Hi robertplummer. xavi: SRTracker: no idea, in the old days, you could download those files to your local computer, and view them as images with your favourite software locally, etc

SRTracker: read carefully the http://doc.tiki.org/Upgrade , the section about "If you have encoding issues". This is for FutureLinkProtocol
@FLP(clipboarddata) My text @) Lonecrow: So I'm playing with the positioning of the modules and I notice that the quick admin bar is always on top of the login/logout drop down. No matter what order or position I drag it to and save, they are always on top of each other. Any admin user will get this
really annoying me :) Tiki-KGB: 03xavidp r49641 10branches/12.x/templates/wizard/admin_wizard_completed.tpl
[FIX]Remove hard link to Featured profiles at the end of the Admin Wizard (which is supposed to be after the Profiles Wizard also) robertplummer: @FLP() to indicate that we want to use the FutureLinkProtocol here, and the end with "@)" is sort of like 1 character, a link to the past, where the ")" points the @ backwards.
So the idea is we link here, to there.
The future (my new article), to the past (existing article). xavi: robertplummer: from the top of my head, no idea of issues so far (but who knows in other cms's and environments, other than tiki). You are entering the Far West... Lonecrow: like for example I added server load to the LEFT bar and saved but it displays it at the top xavi: Lonecrow: you can change positioning of modules, by drag and drop, better than by numbering them Lonecrow: RIght I've done that too
There is no left bar position actually to drag to.. robertplummer: xavi, I thought of that. Most of the time @ is used seomthing@something.com. Rarely do we use "@FLP(.+?)" and I've never seen "@)", but I thought it was clever. Lonecrow: The admin quickbar and login I drag and drop specifically where I want it.. save it and when you return to view its on top of each other again robertplummer: as "@)" is sort of a single character, a link, that points back in time. since your package is external, you should define your autoload scheme in the composer.json file robertplummer: But wikiLingo uses namespaces in php, and it needs to be automated, since there are a ton of different files rather than one huge one.
namespaces need autoloaded. lphuberdeau: yeah, that's handled by composer
