chibaguygilles, Tiki now uses Bootstrap CSS Framework classes, etc., for layout (grid) and page elements, so new Tiki theme style sheets need to basically be a bootstrap.css equivalent (but with your own color and other style information).
New docs are coming soon. (I promise. ;-) )
There are basically two groups of rules for new Tiki themes. One group is the bootstrap.css equivalent. The second covers things that are outside of Bootstrap, that are "legacy" or unique Tiki things.
If you look in styles/(Some_theme)/less/tiki-selectors.less, you can see some CSS used by that particular theme, that's in addition to the Bootstrap rules. 		[13:20]

The themes in the Tiki package used Less pre-compiler to put these together, but you can just write CSS directly if you want.
You could try going to getbootstrap.css and to the "customize" link to make a CSS file with your color values, etc.

[FIX] themes: Remove the mysterious jquery_ui_chosen_css pref as if jquery_ui_chosen is enabled it really doesn't work at all well without the css file in any setups i can find. Hopefully this was just a Tiki 13 transitional workaround? (let's try without it for a while)
