Hello - I'm getting a Segfault on Tiki 14 on Debian Jessie.
PHP 5.6.13-0+deb8u1 (cli) (built: Sep 7 2015 13:38:37)

Does not segfault if there is no logged-in user. fabricius: www.internal.com/tiki/tiki-user_preferences.php is not a Tiki isn't it?

not really time ... and not really aware what exactly was the solution for Nginx Circuitsoft: Is there a known issue with Nginx and fpm that causes massive segfaults?
At this point, I'm reasonably certain that nginx has nothing to do with it. fabricius: Circuitsoft: I did find some forum posts and did send to two sysadmins ... amette did find a solution for his PHP - Nginx problem before, but for the other guy it was helpful ... a couple of weeks ago, so I am not really aware anymore
FPM and Nginx, YES! Exactly! Circuitsoft: I'll consider the possibility, but I don't think it's likely. With php-fpm out of process, and access to it over a FastCGI socket, I really doubt that's an issue.
Oh? fabricius: segfault I do not know, but definitely there is a fmp - nginx problem and there seem to be workarounds
I did chat with amette in Check republic in July and with another guy a few weeks later - both discussions definitely about existing fpm-ngynx problems and solutions
it is not my special area of work, so you should try to get amette or you ask old friend google Circuitsoft: I had some issues with initial setup, but eveything else has been working smoothly since then. I'm also using nginx and fpm on another server with ModX, and there are no issues.
I have an xdebug trace leading to my segfault. Is there somewhere I can upload that for a dev to look at?

More, I'm trying to work out what's unique about my situation that makes it happen.
Any time any logged-in user goes to edit preferences, it segfaults, and the dumped core is almost 8GB. jonnyb: that's definitely not a bug in tiki i'm afraid, unless you can reproduce it on show.tiki.org
what version of php are you using? Circuitsoft: I figure not, but I'm on Debian Stable, with two security updates sinece I installed, and nothing's changed.

Either way, Whenever I visit tiki-user_preferences.php from a logged-in user, php-fpm (behind nginx) segfaults and dumps a nearly 8GB core.
I installed xdebug and got a trace from the error. I see no huge jumps in memory use anywhere, but I may just not be noticing right. xavidp: I would advise you to fill in a bug report, just in case
