Guest78175: anyone here got a realistic bit of information of how to migrate one of thiese installs ?
   <br> i just inherited a project
<br> and my first thought was ... WTF
<br> all i see is conflicting docs by many people
<br> all talking about maybe do this and that or you might move this directory and a few others
<br> then a swathe of crap on filesystem permissions ??? again .. WTF ?
   fabricius: polom
   <br> hi Guest78175
<br> what exact you are doing?
   <br> apart from WTF
<br> <u>Guest78175</u>: I might be able to give you some hints, as I migrated a number of Tiki installs between different hosts
<br> depending on the found situation this can be smooth (good setup server and good setup Tiki), but it might become headwrecking, when somebody has an old Tiki and lots of files stored in the database without shell access on a shared hosting or so .... I have seen strange things
<br> so what is your situation Guest78175 ?
   <br> polom luciash

   <br> Hello - About a month ago, I reported a strange segfault.
<br> Well, today, I traced it down, and I fixed it.
<br> https://dev.tiki.org/item5720 - Patch is in second comment
Jyhem: wow, congratulations and thanks Circuitsoft. Ping amette :-)
<br> That looks tricky and sadly very server-dependant. Well OS version dependant
   fabricius: hi guys
   <br> hello Circuitsoft Jyhem
   Jyhem: hi fabricius
fabricius: long time no read Jyhem. How is going? are you well?
Jyhem: XWiki are ready to man a common stand at Foosdem with us :-) They can provide 2 ppl confirmed, maybe more unconfirmed
<br> Busy, but it's getting better
   fabricius: oh cool
Jyhem: Plus, I think we know both :)
   <br> and you ?
fabricius: just have been thinking today that we need to agree on a daterange from when to when we want to be in Brussels (TikiFest around FOSDEM) and rent enough space for the whole time
-: Jyhem now focusing more on Tiki14
Jyhem: Have you listened to last webinar's recording ?
fabricius: =&gt; "Plus, I think we know both" ? query ?
   <br> no not yet
Jyhem: do that, we talked about Fosdem daterange (after Fosdem) and lodging
fabricius: wanted. should I ? I guess I should ... can do before I go sleeping. After chat whilst working on a document ...
   <br> ah cool
Jyhem: the 2 confirmed XWiki people, I think we met them 2 years ago
   fabricius: ah ok
<br> Today I did chat with Nelson ... we are starting a CalDav project now to asap make Tiki a CalDav Client ... I suggested a reference setup: n Tikis plus m Thunderbirds sync calendars via a Baikal server. CalDav calendar events must be, CardDav contacts should be and contact data from trackers might be
<br> We might setup some kickstarter or any crowdfunding .. Nelson will look for one or more coders to contribute
<br> My maybe new or maybe not so new idea is to not make Tiki a CalDav server, but simply a webclient (if that is simpler) and first and most focussing on the part of the protocol that thunderbird and Baikal share sucessfully
<br> what do you think Jyhem?
<br> Baikal is a PHP/mySQL CalDav/CardDav server running on average shared hosting without user frontend (only administration) focussing on being the syncserver, as display of the calenders and user interactions anyway can be done by CalDav capable clients (and webclients).
<br> Another idea I brought up was an API for owncloud, to use the Tiki users in owncloud, somehow similar to what we did with BBB
<br> why not consolidating Tikis existing features and positioning it as common frontend and Groupware/CRM in the middle of existing well runnig systems with special capabilites ... Owncloud, Baikal, Rundcube, etc.
   <br> /s/Rundcube/Roundcube
Circuitsoft: So, now I'm trying to track down another issue.
fabricius: aswell Tiki could act as a calendar webfrontend where the user adds and edits events from a local thunderbird/lightning instance (via Baikal) without even logging in
Circuitsoft: PHP Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /var/www/html/tiki-14.0/lib/search/searchlib-unified.php on line 940
fabricius: autosynching with other devices and users
<br> uhhh not nice. always very good having developers and coders tracking and fixing bugs
   <br> thx Circuitsoft
   Circuitsoft: This is tiki-14.0
<br> To cause this error, edit any page and attempt to insert an object link.
<br> The box pops up, and the spinner runs forever.
<br> ajax-services is what calls down this far.
<br> That seems like such a basic thing, that I imagine it's something else system-specific.

   Circuitsoft: ini_get("xdebug.collect_params") returns 3, and ini_get("xdebug.collect_return") returns 1.
<br> But the xdebug_start_trace is not showing parameters or values.

Circuitsoft: So, I'm getting a very basic error in the PHP code in Tiki, and as I trace it, I can't imagine how it could ever work.
   <br> Tiki-14.0/liblcore/Services/Search/Controller.php:64
<br> filter-&gt;none() returns an empty string, and it seems that's what it will always do.
<br> buildQuery, is expecting an associative array.
Tiki|bot: New Forum Posts: Fosdem stand application (for information) - http://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=26&amp;comments_parentId=57478
Circuitsoft: fabricius, Jyhem: Anyone familiar with how code flows in Tiki?
luciash: "filter-&gt;none() returns an empty string" sounds legit to me
<br> by default there is no filtering while doing a search
Circuitsoft: The problem is that, the result of tilter-&gt;none() is passed directly to unifiedsearch::buildQuery(), which expects an array.
<br> <u>luciash</u>: unifiedsearch::buildQuery then tries to unset() array elements on what's passed in, and PHP pukes on it.
   <br> Since it's not valid to unset(""['type'])

luciash: <u>Circuitsoft</u>: i see, so the fix would be to return empty array, right?
   Circuitsoft: I guess.
<br> I just don't understand why something as simple as this got in production code, but after examining my config, I'm thinking this feature may be less-used.
<br> Can I start a show.tiki.org instance, then link a request to it later?
luciash: I think bug report must be done first
   <br> on line 64 I got opening: try {
   <br> then 66: $query = $lib-&gt;buildQuery($input-&gt;filter-&gt;none());
<br> not sure how to fix that
<br> as I am not PHP developer, I do mainly visual stuff in Tiki (CSS/Smarty/jQuery)
<br> latest 14.x branch here (if that makes a difference)
Circuitsoft: I have 14.0 stable release, and line 64 is what you have on 66.
