no emails from dev or svn lists today :(
last time that happened all sorts of bad things occurred... chibaguy: about 14 hours ago I got a mail - the last one. jonnyb: yup, me too
and there have been a few commits since r57814 but no notices chibaguy: "in unplanned maintenance". I guess that's a diplomatic way to put it.
Do you ever use the "choose a group at registration"? I'm having trouble with that in Tiki 14. jonnyb: yes, i have done in the past to keep the smappers out
spammers
but probably not since 12.x i guess eromneg: joined #tikiwiki jonnyb: polom eromneg eromneg: hi chibaguy: Ok. In 15 it seems to work, at least there are radio buttons in the form that seem to cause a change, but no buttons in 14. jonnyb: chibaguy: where did you see "in unplanned maintenance"? chibaguy: hi eromneg jonnyb: glad it works in 15 though, you know the easy answer ;) chibaguy: oh sorry, that was on Feb 5 - I read too far down the tweet list.
Yeah but the timing for upgrading the tiki 14 site isn't so good - it's for a conference in July.
and is pretty active now. jonnyb: Check the history in 15 for the template, i would guess it's a DOM/bootstrap fix probably
by the way, i just added a rewiew for tiki on sf.net, i presume i did once upon a time but it seemed ot let me do a new one today, so everyone should i think! :) chibaguy: good idea jonnyb: by the way, dod you see that dev and themes have been updated to 15.x? looks ok to me so far...
presumably more lost emails ;) chibaguy: oh, I didn't notice. eromneg: on the dev site - now that its on Tiki15 - I had a problem when submitted a new bug/wish - for the Feature selection the drop down list kept jumping to the bottom and I could select what I needed to - anyone else seen that?
sorry should have said 'could NOT select' jonnyb: eromneg: is it using Chosen? i found i had to disable that one a 15.x site
didn't get a chance to see what the problem was
i think there's a bootstrap chosen plugin helper, maybe that needs updating? eromneg: yep - its the main tiki dev site 'wishes' form and chosen does seem to have been set chibaguy: Is the parser supposed to take into account if there's an h1.pagetitle when it assigns !, !!, etc. as <h1> or <h2> headings?
Like automatically making ! an h2 when there's an h1.pagetitle or making it h1 when there isn't?
It seems now ! = h1 whether there's an h1.pagetitle or not.
But I believe Jyhem said it wasn't that way before. jonnyb: yes, i think that's been borken for a while chibaguy: ah, ok. page authors can just do the !'s accordingly. jonnyb: i always thought it was confusing personally, guess it should be optional ;) amette_: joined #tikiwiki Tiki-KGB: 03jonnybradley r57821 10branches/15.x/templates/tiki-calendar.tpl

I'm getting a flood now jonnyb: wooh hoo, you must have the magic touch! :) nelsonko: I didn't touch anything :) jonnyb: by the way nelsonko - looking at http://sourceforge.net/p/tikiwiki/code/57816 by Pat i see he added the new fields to getProvidedFields fn in the source class, which i didn't do when i added all those creation_date field the other day - should i have done that, and/or add them to getGlobalFields?
never been quite sure about those... nelsonko: getProvidedFields should always have all the fields that are indexed
getGlobalFields are only fields that you want to be in the "contents" fields
the "default" contents field I mean jonnyb: oh right, got it
i expect there are lots missing then... nelsonko: as for the true/false in getGlobalFields, it merely indicates if the field itself it preserved after it's been added to the global contents field. True is the normal case, but there are some cases where it's false (which I think the idea was that it was to save index space.
but I actually thought it was an unnecessary feature myself...
(the true/false part)
getProvidedFields is used here and there to get an array of fields to operate on, so if it's not up to date it could cause edge case bugs jonnyb: hmm, ok - in the miiddle of something else but will try and look at it another day... Hello - would any of you be able to help me out?!
A technical question from a fairly new user...
I have been using Tikiwiki for about 3 months now developing my first site. Today I got ahead of myself adding custom code. This has caused the site to display just a blank white screen.
I added some custom html code on the "Look and Feel / Customisation" page, (in the box where it says 'Custom code just before the closing </body> tag') After adding the custom code, the site will only display a white screen.
Obviously I am fairly new to making these kinds of changes and probably shouldn't be messing about with custom code anyway. Still, any ideas, or suggestions as to how to fix this would be most welcome.
