Oops. Too late. mose: heh
heya chibaguy chibaguy: hey mose. xavi: polom
hi chibaguy
oups, mose around?!!! :-) mose: hey xavi! xavi: how are thing?
s/thing/things? mose: still alive, still online :D xavi: he he :-)
taiwan still (was it?)? mose: it is, and still is
9 years there now
still working on my chinese xavi: he he, long enough to make taiwanesse wine?
or equivaalent beverage out of locally grown products? mose: nah, I'm a renegade french that knows nothing about wine xavi: hehe mose: and I don't drink actually
generaly speaking xavi: neither do I, byut making high quality wine in Catalonia became a thriving business in some local regions here
even some university mates & good friends went that way, and they seem to be doing good, getting a place in this expensive market, etc
s/good/well
mose, any new software project you are involved in? -: xavi always curious mose: hmm
well my official daily activity is in sysadmin area
but I'm sneakily still developping shit in the chatops area xavi: and no coding at all (other than sysadmin scripts and such?) mose: well
I can't stop dev
it's just .. on the side xavi: he he, I thought so :-) mose: mostly ruby or js xavi: thats why I was asking mose: didn't touch php for 10 years xavi: and js, any lib you are most fond of and experienced with? mose: plus various community activities xavi: like meteor or such ones mose: well, I work with very specific contetx in JS, no front end nightmare xavi: or node.js, etc mose: I work with hubot, this is coffeescript
and node-based
my biggest plugin is https://github.com/Gandi/hubot-phabs xavi: mmmm, coffeescript, this rings a bell, in the new js lib recently added in Tiki to make this: https://doc.tiki.org/PluginPivotTable -: xavi visiting hubot-phabs mose: well, coffeescript is js for rubyists
very small population
ES6 is kinda better Bsfez: joined #tikiwiki xavi: oh, phabricator... nice, it's in some of us's roadmap to revisit phabricator at some point mose: and about community things I have some recent photos on https://www.flickr.com/photos/43946968@N07/albums
well phabricator is a weird beast
but it's genetic code is not that far from tiki
one big php bunch and stick many features on the top of it :) xavi: :-)

hi, i have a problem with my tiki. i ran 15.3 and an update to 15.4 did not fix it. the site displays plain nothing and if i change to webserver user and execute tiki-index.php on php interpreter it returns nothing as well.
does anyone have a good hint how to start debugging this?
btw: the topic still mentions the old versions Jyhem: ford_p: usually, in case of "White Screen of Death", there is something in the webserver error log
If you have command line access, I suggest ford_p: well, unfortunately that does not spit out anything as well Jyhem: sh setup.sh
(for permissions and composer )
php console.php cache:clear
(for clean caches)
php console.php database:update
maybe database update before cache clear -: Jyhem needs to go and eat now, sorry ford_p: Jyhem: thanks for the pointers, might get me started. enjoy your meal
i get a "PHP Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in /my/path/to/tiki/lib/core/Tiki/MemoryLimit.php on line 50" with both. looking at that line shows nothing offensive at all
now, i found an error in webserver (nginx) output:
FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Method Tiki_Render_Lazy::__toString() must not throw an exception, caught Error: Cannot unset string offsets in /path/to/tiki/lib/modules/modlib.php on line 0" while reading response header from upstream, client: ipv6:addr:ess:of:client, server: mydomain.tld, request: "GET /tiki-check.php HTTP/2.0", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/run/php-fpm/php-fpm.sock:", host: "
