Hello, my ear helping buddies :-)
I've searched the tiki doc and can't seem to find how to do this : how do I add a "related pages" section at the bottom of my wiki pages, that displays related pages based on tags ? lincolna: joined #tikiwiki Tiki-KGB: 03yonixxx r61520 10trunk/themes/greenvalley/less/tiki-selectors.less * Improving Greenvalley style (thanks Gary for guidance) jonnyb: joined #tikiwiki fabricius: joined #tikiwiki Padlock: I have another question, if it's easier. It's regarding the bug_tracker profile which I have just applied to my tiki and try to figure out. I'm not yet very familiar with trackers, so I'm wondering : how/where is the "status" defined for items ? It doesn't seem to be a field, yet there's an "open/pending/closed" status attached to each item
And when I go to the bug tracker list page, it only displays "open" items. I wanted to make a modification so it displays all statuses but I can't find what triggers that fabricius: Hallo Padlock
was your previous question answered?
there must be a "related pages" module, but I am not sure if there would be a "tags" option (parameter)
next question
status is indeed not a field
it is a core default element of each tracker, like creator or created tie and date
you need to go to the individual trackers preferences and there you can set the status settings, respectively the display or view settings
when you open the trackers preferences, you should find it selfexplaining
/s/tie/time
Padlock?
Padlock: I do not find such a module, sorry. maybe the Plugin Relations could be a help? See here (barely documented): https://doc.tiki.org/PluginRelations
Then here: https://doc.tiki.org/Unified+Index
Mabe you can build something with PluginList or atop of it Plugin CustomSearch?

hi chibaguy jonnyb: moq moq chibaguy and fabricius and all fabricius: chibaguy: are you aware who might be working on post15 Cartograf? chibaguy: hi fabricius and jonnyb and all fabricius: I want to use CartoGraf to publish a map of our NGOs local groups and contact persons, but I see a number of glitches in context of loading the site or loading elements and plus CSS, respectively mobile CSS and layout chibaguy, luciash, jonnyb
Hi jonnyb, luciash and all (and chibaguy again ;-) ) chibaguy: fabricius, I'm not sure offhand. Do you mean Cartograf for Tiki 15? jonnyb: chibaguy: did you spot the commit i did for newsletter.css? http://sourceforge.net/p/tikiwiki/code/61434 was wondering how we could add it to the less compiling for each theme automatically so each one could have the right colours etc?
fabricius: i have some bugs on a list i need to fix for cartograf, just not quite got the top of the list yet ;) chibaguy: jonnyb, I didn't notice that. I'll take a look. jonnyb: luciash: has been doing the css bits
thanks chibaguy fabricius: chibaguy: would it be more helful to make a list of what I find and send to you / bugreport or first wait for eventual fixes and report then what I still find, in case I do?
Example would be the "chose icon" modal under the "edit tracker item modal" ... really usable only with legacy view/edit of trackers (Tabs) and not with modal view/edit
jonnyb, chibaguy: just reading the newsletter.css topic - I have a use case, where I would need an alternative CSS for the newsletter and NOT the use of the current themes css, which makes the newsletter (at least where I tried) looking very odd chibaguy: fabricius, I haven't been doing anything with Cartograf, so maybe making standard bug reports would be better.
Then I can try to fix and also other people can see the reports and maybe try to fix. jonnyb: fabricius: if you are using tiki before r61434 then maybe that will help anyway? but afaik if you add a file themes/css/newsletter.css it should pick it up automatically (maybe?) Padlock: fabricius: looks like whatever I chose in the tracker's preferences about status doesn't make any change : status is not taken into account when items are displayed in trackerlist. The only way I found to call the actual status attribute is by using trackerfilter chibaguy: So, jonnyb, the goal will be for each theme to have its own newsletter.css file?
(It seems this will be necessary if each theme is supplying values for the variables in a newsletter.less file.
) jonnyb: is that possible? to make it generate one automatically when you recompile the LESS?
the variables should be the common "normal" ones i would have thought, like brand-text etc (or whatever they are) chibaguy: Right, those variables. Yes, it can be arranged to generate a css file; maybe there will need to be a newsletter.less file per theme, but it can import its contents from a common file based on the current newsletter.css, I believe. montefuscolo: joined #tikiwiki jonnyb: that's sort of what i was hoping for chibaguy :) fabricius: Thx chibaguy (ref bug report @CartoGraf) jonnyb: Hi montefuscolo - and bye, lunchtime here... montefuscolo: hi jonnyb !! bon apetit :) chibaguy_: joined #tikiwiki fabricius: Padlock: I assume, you are just starting to try out things ... so you would need at least one item public, one item pending and one item closed to any have a chance to see a difference
Padlock: additionally you have more options, when you use the PluginList
hi montefuscolo montefuscolo: hello fabricius chibaguy_: jonnyb, newsletter.css has a lot of old pre-bootstrap selectors like .cbox . These aren't still used in newsletters, they? Padlock: I do have items of all three kinds. I added a trackerfilter just below the trackerlist, with a filter=status/d and if i chose "any" it does list all items, but I thought I could set up the trackerlist so it woud show other items than those in "open" status chibaguy_: What kind of content do people put in newsletters, formatting-wise? (I've never made a Tiki newsletter.)
(taking dogs out - will be back soon.) fabricius: chibaguy_: mainly clipped articles or free content (like a letter or a wiki page) ... clipped article: mainly topic, optionally topline, subline, author, date, article-heading (similar to blog-post summary) Tiki-KGB: 03montefuscolo r61522 10branches/ 10(118 files in 23 dirs) * [MRG] Merging from trunk r61455 through r61460.

fabricius, so anything that can be in a wiki page (ex: table or panel (module)) could be in a newsletter, right?
So would need the styling.
jonnyb, I can take care of that Less newsletter stuff if you like.
(when you're back) fabricius: chibaguy_: sorry, was away ... thinking now to answer ...
chibaguy_: mainly yes, but most important imho would be 'clipped articles' plus main 'wiki syntax'. But wiki page content like plugins and modules would be thinkable aswell, yes chibaguy_: I see. fabricius: But this is just my point of view chibaguy_ ... my use case would be mainly clipped article plus some text and perhabs few images, but with a personalised newsletter ... and personalised is not easily doable with Tiki yet (afaik) redflo: joined #tikiwiki Bsfez: joined #tikiwiki Tiki-KGB: 03jonnybradley r61524 10branches/ 10(110 files in 22 dirs)
