I haven't been following the dev list emails about autotoc, but it seems to be broken in trunk. In a page with a simple headings assortment, the autotoc only displays h1 and h2 levels, ignoring lower levels.
Sorry, not dev list emails, but dev.t.o bug reports, and maybe not about autotoc. I need to check more closely. jonnyb: Hmm, ok - not terribly surprised - another one for the list! :) chibaguy: What got me into it was trying to remove specific autotoc css for coloring, etc., and use Bootstrap dropdown-menu styles, to avoid css redundancy.
So I could have broken something, but I don't think so. jonnyb: if the lower levels aren't there at all then it's something in the main page DOM that's changed probably - did you file a wish for it? (will help me not forget as i can't look at it now, sorry) chibaguy: I'll test first with a trunk that I didn't mess with yet. ;-) jonnyb: 8) chibaguy: Ok, on a not-tampered-with trunk, autotoc seems to only display some of the levels of headings. I don't see an obvious pattern.
But I'll check more thoroughly and submit a bug report.
Lower levels will display if enough other levels are commented out, so it seems to be something in the headings-to-autotoc processing, or something. sssssss: joined #tikiwiki
Hi
Is there a possibility to make big bullets in TikiWiki?
In wiki pages jonnyb: Hi sssssss (if you come back) - maybe, try the fancy list plugin https://doc.tiki.org/PluginFancyList (it does a numbered list but might get you part of the way?) chibaguy: There's a CSS rule in tiki_base.css that says: .autotoc .nav .nav .nav {
display: none; } . This is preventing some headings from showing. Do these headings display on hover of parent? Or do they stay hidden, I wonder.
(I'll compare with branch 18.) jonnyb: i think it uses the scrollspy component doesn't it, plus another one i can't remember the name of, so i expect these have changed in v4+? chibaguy: Right. I noticed it isn't scrolling in trunk.
