nice day for releasing 19.1 yes jonnyb? jonnyb: yup, later robertokir: :)
jonnyb, I'm running phpunit tests locally and got 1 error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function tr() in /home/roberto/devel/tiki-19/installer/schema/20190123_h5p_move_storage_assets_to_new_dir_tiki.php:33 trebmuh: joined #tikiwiki jonnyb: sorry robertokir (meeting) - sounds like the installer/updater isn't set up properly for those tests maybe? robertokir: no prob jonny, we can talk about it later Jyhem_laptop: polom jonnyb: ho Jyhem_laptop Jyhem_laptop: To me, it looks like installer/schema/20190123_h5p_move_storage_assets_to_new_dir_tiki.php needs fixing by removing this tr()
Maybe even the whole trigger_error() thing
this is about making upgrades run smoothly including on command line, not having fancy translated error displays :-( jonnyb: to fix the tests? or do you get errors when actually updating?
no, it's about making the unit tests run i thought Jyhem_laptop: Well, installer/schema/20190123_h5p_move_storage_assets_to_new_dir_tiki.php is the only file having either tr() or trigger_error() in it.
So, to make Tiki more robust jonnyb: true
not sure hope the errors will be handled though -: Jyhem_laptop just spent last week on upgrading a Tki6 to Tiki18 and getting a different database structure than a clean Tiki18 Jyhem_laptop: the installer schema upgrade scripts have gotten too complicated for their own good :-( jonnyb: ok, i'll remove it (don't have time to test it i'm afriad, can i leave that to you? ;) ) Jyhem_laptop: magic handling of errors was one issue I encountered, like the pageSlug exception thing which comes out of the blue and is therefore impossible to debug for normal humans
Sorry, as I said, it's already above my undesrstanding and I have a meeting in an hour and no lunch yet :-( jonnyb: same, i'll commit it though (and will try and test a bit locally ;) ) bon apetit!

quicky question about search index... jonnyb: polom xavi xavi: filtering on a group field in plugin list with group name: "omd - Departament Estadística i Difusió de Dades" doesnt' show the results, however using plugin trackerfilter works
hi jonnyb :-)
I checked that the value in the mysql db for such field is a typed in the group edit form, and it is
and i'd like to check which are the contents of the unified search index, in case they are encoded or something
but searching the mysql tables that look like the unified search index contents show nothing against the permanent field in that tracker (corresponding to that group name) jonnyb: mysql has a default minimum word length of 3, you can change it to two if you have root - more here: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/fulltext-fine-tuning.html xavi: am I doing something wrong? Or where can I find the real contents of the unified search index? (are they supposed to be in the mysql table) - I'm using mysql full text search as the unified search index engine, btw jonnyb: also a little bit here https://doc.tiki.org/Unified-Index-Comparison#Limitations xavi: I modified mysql config last year to allow searching for 3 word characters, and it works as expected, afaik (for months, at least) jonnyb: um, what's a "group field"?
the group tracker field? (i've never used that) xavi: yes, group tracker field
how can we know if that info is indexed?
"group selector" jonnyb: i'm looking in the source of Tracker_Field_GroupSelector::getDocumentPart xavi: tracker field jonnyb: you could try filtering on tracker_field_permName_text maybe? xavi: using tiki 18lts, btw
text, good indea, thanks jonnyb: and you can see the data in your database in a table called index_xxxxxxx xavi: wooooooot! it works, jonnyb :-)
you're da man :-) jonnyb: yay!
we really need to document all the _text etc alternative fields and what they do somewhere (somehow ;)) xavi: :-D
meeting time here
your answer came just in time, jonnyb, thanks heaps! jonnyb: glad to be able to, take care! xavi: c u (same for you) fabricius: joined #tikiwiki arildb: joined #tikiwiki fabricius: joined #tikiwiki
