[14:09] gour morning
[14:10] gour fo some reason i'm getting "Gateway Timeout
[14:10] gour The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application." on my proction server when attempting 19.1
[14:10] gour is there some way to 'manually' install or populate database for Tiki?
[14:51] Jyhem_laptop hi Gour, you can try php console.php in the root directory of your Tiki. It will show you plenty of options. The one you are looking for is php console.php database:install I guess
[14:52] Jyhem_laptop assuming you have a db/local.php file
[15:01] gour yes, i have. let's see...
[15:04] gour Jyhem_laptop: i went fine - Queries executed successfully: 19774
[15:04] gour now i wonder about admin credentials?
[15:06] Jyhem_laptop doesn't start with admin/admin ?
[15:06] Jyhem_laptop then you change it
[15:07] Jyhem_laptop doesn't IT start with admin/admin ?
[15:09] gour Jyhem_laptop: it does! bear me with me -Tiki noob here. :-)
[15:27] Jyhem_laptop I believe it's mentioned in the last part of the installer. Obviously, if you skip the installer through the command line, you can't guess :-)
[15:28] gour :-)
[15:41] gour i've toched db/lock in my install, but it still reports 'installer not locked' ?
[15:44] Jyhem That never happened to me… double check that db/lock is actually there? Maybe an ownership thing?
[15:45] Jyhem Also, when in doubt, this often helps: php console.php cache:clear or the same thing, shorter: php console.php c:c
[15:45] gour nope. file was ok. now, after disabling from installer it is ok, although /db/lock is still zero-bytes file
[15:46] Jyhem it does not need to have content. zero-byte is fine
[15:46] gour all in all, 19.1 is a nice release after i was fiddling with 18beta...if luciash's markdown plugin become 'productive', i may end mirating our non-profit site to tiki
[15:54] gour *migrating

[17:32] * jonnyb checks out 20.x
[17:48] Jyhem Hi jonnyb
[17:48] Jyhem I looked at show2. You created a 18.x instance, didn't you?
[17:50] Jyhem show2 was only set up for 19.x and trunk. 18.x was there but it was not being updated every 30 min. It was a tarball from "Jan 24 11:31" copied over from previous show.
[17:51] Jyhem It's fixed now, new 18.x should be up to date
[18:20] jonnyb polom Jyhem
[18:21] jonnyb I intended to make a trunk show instance when i tested it the other day from nextdev
[18:22] Jyhem_laptop ouch :-(
[18:32] jonnyb Hmm....
[18:34] jonnyb Jyhem: http://chibaguy-342-6674.show2.tikiwiki.org was the one, and it says it's 20.0 SVN
[18:35] Jyhem_laptop There's a weird line in lib/core/Tracker/Field/ShowTikiOrg.php
[18:35] jonnyb just one? :D
[18:35] Jyhem_laptop versions' => $this->getOption('versions', ['18.x', '15.x', '12.x']),
[18:35] Jyhem_laptop line 90
[18:37] Jyhem well, suspicious would be a better word :)
[18:39] jonnyb suspiscious?
[18:40] jonnyb No, it's so the old field would contrinue to work with 18, 15 and 12 if the field option didn;'t get set properly, the option default was just in case
[18:41] jonnyb I think that one shouldbe deleted anyway, because the tracker item that created it will have been overwritten by now, wont it?
[18:43] jonnyb I've added 20.x to the field now, will that "just work"? :P
[18:51] Jyhem hmmm, no but 250.x is easy to add for me. It's show2 side
[19:02] jonnyb aha, the show2 instance appears on https://dev.tiki.org/item6674 (like magic!) and there's an svn up button now, i clicked it! :)
[19:02] * jonnyb wonders about branches/250.x
[19:05] jonnyb Jyhem: woot, svn up worked and i now see the double scroll checkbox! :)
[19:06] Jyhem show2 should be 20.x ready in a couple minutes
[19:06] Jyhem now, actually
[19:06] Jyhem 250x is for Marc who insists on being future-ready :)
[19:07] jonnyb however, it looks like composer wasn't ujpdated...
[19:07] jonnyb :)
[19:07] jonnyb thanks, 20.x is plenty for now :P
[19:08] Tiki|bot Recent Bug: - Set up wish reminder system - http://dev.tiki.org/item7083-Set-up-wish-reminder-system
[19:08] jonnyb also it says the database is'nt up to date
[19:09] jonnyb does it not use doc/devtools/svnup.php?
[19:15] Jyhem No, it does not rely on doc/devtools/svnup.php
[19:15] * Jyhem looks
[19:17] Jyhem It does php console.php database:install --force
[19:18] Jyhem But it creates a db/local.php with $client_charset='utf8'; , which is probably obsolete for 19.x and trunk?
[19:19] Jyhem ooops, I need to get soem stuff for mother's day which is tomorrow.
[19:19] Jyhem bbl
[19:20] jonnyb np, bb
[21:16] Jyhem The svn thing is fixed, at least :-)
