i'm trying to extend svg-edit, and I'm curious why the attribute whitelist exists is there a reason it's needed that I'm missing? | [20:52] |
pdr | I don't know what it does but there's a lot of code in svgedit for legacy browsers that are long dead. If that's the case here, want to send a pull request removing it? | [20:54] |
abe_ | sorry i'm talking about the sanitize.js whitelist,
when the svg is converted to xml for storage it wipes any attributes not on the whitelist | [20:56] |
pdr | ahh. Do you know of an example of an attribute it would remove? | [20:57] |
abe_ | only the ones i add
that's my question really is it there for any reason, if i just comment out the sanitize function, so that i can extend how i want will that break things i haven't notived? | [20:58] |
