I've been using tiki-top_bar for the horizontal menu, but will remove the pref check and combine it with tiki-site_header.tpl probably.

... I bet that those three guys (and the other style-people) would make a great team! :)
I think the process needs to be collaborative, to use knowledge and so everyone feels good about it.

Also there is the challenge of the design for Tiki project sites, which may not be the same as the best desing for general users. Of course maybe it could be, but it all has to be considered.

hi chibaguy: in trunk I am using darkroom - can I reduce the size of the text - it is pretty big - and reducing in FF do not change all the texts...

hi sylvieg, ok, changing the body font tag should work. Just about all text below that is set in ems or 5.

Sometimes in *litecss themes I notice a difference in text size in left and right column due to different number of parent divs, so sometimes its necessary to set these sizes separately.
just need to find another set of icons .... the default ones are too colorful (thx nyloth to have begun icons per style)
Yes, that bright blue module flipping icon is rather out of place sometimes.
The old one was plain but at least no color conflict.

About the site header, I want to make a few wiki pages to describe the layout in the themes I've done. There might easily be a better way to do things. (I wanted to have logo and banner display side by side, switchable, and also the other login and search positioned.) So Patrick and others can take a look and (very) possibly improve things.
The challenge is that many designs have a rectangle, like 100px tall, to fit everything into. It isn't like older themes where each item can just be added to the stack.
Question: I can't find the staging features in 1.9.11. Am I totally missing it? I've read the documentation and still can't seem to find it. I just want to enable moderation for wiki content.
nathaniel, I don't believe the staging feature is in 1.9.11. As far as I know, it's only in 1.10beta and later.

1.10 has a different UI and some new options. but process to remove a module is identical
The data displayed seems to link to tiki-browse_categories.php? parentid=1.  I do not have a module refering to categories in the Assign Modules Section.

so if users want to disucss page "Foo" (which is categorized as "Bar") their thread/discussion will automatically be categorized, when tiki creates it (upon the first discussion)...

Hi rick.  Sorry to be back so fast.  "show category objects" disabled works and solves the problem of the data being display at the bottom of each page, but it has broken the approval process.  When I enable show agian the approval process comes back.  Any ideas?

Do you know of any workarounds.  Enabling the feature for moderators and admins would work but I can't find a reference to "feature_categoryobjects"  No just unchecked show categories as you suggested
might be easiest to:
1. turn "on" the "show category objects" feature (so that your staging process works)
2. manually edit the show_page.tpl template and simply remove the section that actually shows the category objects

And secondly, I've created an RSS feed (a feed _from_ my wiki) and the RSS icon for people to subscribe to that feed has appeared at the very bottom of the page.  Is it possible to put the icon...

I came across something a bit disturbing today ... I was editing a longish blogpost, so I saved it and made it private. While it still was private it shows up on the listing of the "most popular tags" when I click on the relevant tags. It also shows up if I access the site using tiki-mobile. Has the security check here been deliberately left out for some reason or is it a bug?

yup, actually that is very smart of postfix - you can circumvent it, but that opens your server up for spammers and therefore you will soon be blacklisted... ;)

you can still leave those in postfix and then set up an amavis transport - but whitelisting in amavis will then be pretty useless...
... not totally sure about total whitelisting in postfix now...
... really depends on your postfix config...
... if you really want to handle everything in postfix - then I think I'd set up a local transport with a script that checks again a whitelist and then circumvents the rest of your transports...
btw. I tested the rescue system yesterday...

and next reboot it is back to the original system
you choose if to go to rescue 32 or 64 bit. :)
