I'm finding Shadowbox in a fresh 2.0 install doesn't work with any *litecss themes. hmm, working ok now. My mistake, had settings wrong. chibaguy: hmmm, what was the problem ? hi luciash, I'm not completely sure. One problem is simple and simple-amette maybe don't have the latest mootools lilnk in their head sections. For other themes like Darkroom, they have the mootools js links ok but maybe my config settings weren't totally right. They seem ok now. Sorry to jump in - chibaguy When I first started using tw I needed to remove the Category display from the center column of the page. You told me to edit a page and remove some code. Being new I didn't document the changes that I made and now that I have upgraded to v2 the category listing has come back. Can you tell me the edit and the page again please uh, can you describe the problem again, please? On a page - blow the content but above the comments there is a section that shows the categories. I need to take this off the page without changing the way categories are set up Can you check the category admin page (tiki-admin.php?page=category) and be sure "Show Category Objects" is turned off? Each children is categorized differently. I've got 6 groups with perms to categories. That's the vertical perms Torick: "structures" or "categories"? two different beasts Here's horizontal: I've got a group that must have different rights on the different categories of ONE defined structure (parent+children). When I set the perms w/ or w/o +substructures, there is a message about special perms apply all the vertical perms automatically cancels Let's clear a bit. Parent=Project1, children are prop1, prop2 etc. Group Managers are to view all the prop1s and edit all the prop2s; group Dev is to view all that belongs to Project1 Setting the permissions overrides global and group Managers is left w/o any rights Here's the message I recieve: "These permissions do not apply. Special permissions apply." For the parent 1 category, do you have the " asisgn permissions automatically" enabled? It's not categories that are with children, it's the structures are Though the parent 1 structures are not categorized - may that be a problem? o..sorry. i didnt even know that permissions could be applied to wiki structures. i dont even see a perms button the structures admin page. what tiki verison are you using? my undertstanding is that sturctures rely on categories or page-specific settings for permissions the perms button of the structures in the standart view page. open a structure and if you have enough rights you'll see the perms button down there hm... im on 2.0. on tiki-edit_structure.php. i see no PERMS button when editin g astructure :( objectType=wiki+page you are applying the permssion to the specific page. afaik there is no way to apply permissions to a structure. anyone? permissions are for categories or object. im not aware of any way to apply a permission to a wiki structure? Perms I gave are on the pages, not in the structures y. thats my point. you can't apply a permission to a "structure" pages are categorized, right? you can only apply permissions to pages or categories I have groups with perms by categories and groups with local perms per page the latter are overriding the first, that's what I'm trying to solve You will need to get away from local perms the page permisisons are designed to override the category permissions. add your global persmisions to the catgory, then overwrite on a page-by-page basis, as needed No way, my matrix table is both vertical and horizontal (( then you'll need to create "shared" groups for each combination shared groups? what are they for? to account for every combintation in your matirx (i.e., group Z = A+B, group Y = A+C, etc.) there are quite a lot...
