SVN: Commit by chibaguy :: r 15229 /mods/trunk/themes/ (17 files in 17 dirs): [FIX] Updated with change in default header.tpl (css menu pref check). What was the reason for the pagetitle to be an anchor, again? I mean when you are on a gallery listing page, for example, why do you need the page title to be a link to the page you are on? Just in case somebody's browser doesn't have a reload button? ;-) padam padam yo chibaguy i wondered that already too some time ago and the answer was something like that we should keep it to preserve environment ;) no seriously, someone pointed out tiki users are used to have a link on the pagetitle to "refresh" e.g. when you have different sort options and you want to quickly go to the default i'd prefer special icon link for that though but it's true it's easier to hit the big h1 than a little icon :-p Hi, luciash. I was just reminded about this when on a file gallery page, where there is a.pagetitle to refresh, and also a breadcrumbs-like path (which includes a link to the current page/gallery), and also the tree, which has a link the links to all the gallery hierarchy. It would be good to figure out a basic model for page navigation, and think about refresh links, breadcrumbs, anything that is on any of the feature pages, and try to smooth out the inconsistencies and make the simplest but best layout. Then publish this for a guide for any new features, etc. yup yup i think in the breadcrumb there should be no link on the current item or the other way if there are breadcrumbs on, no link on h1 (easier to implement) imho I kinda think even though the refresh link is smaller, its purpose is more clear. But I'd like to get more info/opinions on the need for the refresh link in general. SVN: Commit by chibaguy :: r 15230 /mods/trunk/themes/ (11 files in 11 dirs): [FIX] Use theme default link style, etc. Missing image added. Any idea what "Error REPORT request failed on '/svnroot/tikiwiki/!svn/vcc/default'" means (on svn update)? Followed by "Could not read response body (that path repeated): (garbage characters here)" oh, nope does it happen repeatedly ? On my last few svn ups. for trunk This is with the tortoise svn client for windows. I don't know if that makes a difference. no idea... is the !svn correct ? SVN: Commit by chibaguy :: r 15231 /trunk/styles/darkroom.css: [FIX] Use theme default link style, etc. in .gallerypath. SVN: Commit by chibaguy :: r 15232 /trunk/styles/ (feb12.css thenews.css tikinewt.css): [FIX] Use theme default link style, etc. in .gallerypath. Input here correct? Yes, that's what the message says. dunno what it means by "garbage characters here" Oh, sorry, that was my statement. I meant to say there was a string of characters like a language encoding problem. ah :) I just updated again and /lib/htmlpurifier/ was added back ..... strange. and /lib/adobd/ . . . Whatever is causing the error messages must be messing up my revision numbers or something. Heh, /lib/htmlpurifier/ gets added again every time I update (local files not recognized, I guess, then overwritten). After update, my revision number is the same as shown at http://tikiwiki.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/tikiwiki/trunk/ but why do I get those extra directories? I guess I should wipe my files and check out a fresh batch. worth of the try Same errors on a new checkout. chibaguy: do you think someone messed up trunk ? I don't know, really. I tried to download a tarball to compare files, but the download failed. I guess wait and see if others can update/checkout OK. yep don't you have to catch your train now ? ;) yep cya later. ;-) SVN: Commit by nyloth :: r 15233 /trunk/lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_snarf.php: [FIX] snarf wikiplugin: reduce snarf data to content of the html body only if param ishtml is set to 1. hi all hi all! hi axold 7quit just installed 2.2 have enabled many module which show up and work fine for admin accout however do not show for users I'll be coming and going, but will continue to wait for answers gschoelles: : each module can be assigned to various groups I've been looking around for module assignment that might help but is alluding me hi all :) hi ricks99 :) hi luciash anyone know of a way to convert a wordpress site to tikiwiki? how much of a pita will it be? i'd like to convert wp categories -> tw categories, wp pages -> tw wiki, and wp blog -> tw articles the footer is in the right column since my last svn up... hello :) ok - it is {php} that is desactivated and the module event that does not produce correct html in this case 1. I can't add events to calendar, even as admin -> Permission denied you can not view this page 2. as soon as I try to add permission to the admin group, permissions get messed up (there are suddenly LESS permissions) any idea what to do about that? :/ I'm using v2.2 SVN: Commit by nyloth :: r 15235 /trunk/ (107 files in 5 dirs): [FIX] modules: fix error handling in modules (avoids the error to be displayed again in modules placed after a module with an error) [FIX] categories: wysiwyca (browse categories and module). you do not need to add perm to a gropup that has tiki_p_admi - he will inheret all perms SVN: Commit by sylvieg :: r 15236 /trunk/setup_smarty.php: [FIX]tracker: add the function tra in the possible php fucntions called in smarty sylvieg: ok, but then why doesn't he have perms to add events to the calendar? tiki-calendar_edit_item.php <- this one did you check all your calendar perms in admin->groups tiki_p_add_events sylvieg: I thought tiki_p_admin gives all perms? yes I'm logged in as admin admin is in Admins, which has tiki_p_admin and I cant add events and as I posted: 2. IF i add perms to the admin group all permissions get messed up and I can resinstall tikiwiki perhaps you need to clear the cache temp/cache... @feinbild: did you ceeate a new calendar first? u must create a calendar before you can add an event. ricks99: thanks, that did the job ^^ yw. looks like a bug the ADD EVENT button should *not* display if there are no calendars (using 2.2) btw, are there items I can delete after install to free some space? my webspace is almost full :/ can I delete dirs in /lang I don't need? for example y. you can also delete all the themes (../styles/.. and ../templates/styles/.. ) that you dont want thanks :) and does it really need to ship it's own copy of PEAR? or can I delete that also if I've got PEAR in the include paths? dont know that one. sorry ^^ I guess I can also delete the sql files in db/ ? ^^ will need if u ever have to rerun installer or upgrade ok ^^ SVN: Commit by sylvieg :: r 15237 /trunk/tiki-calendar_edit_item.php: [FIX]calendar: friendly error message when no calendar exist bye guys :) No INT() in Tikisheets? Tsk, my sheet looks overly precise. there is some stuff to adjust the displayed precision... can't remember too well... been many years SVN: Commit by lphuberdeau :: r 15238 /trunk/lib/trackers/trackerlib.php: [FIX] More incompatibilities with PDO... getOne on a delete statement never made any sense SVN: Commit by lphuberdeau :: r 15239 /trunk/lib/profilelib/profilelib.php: [NEW] Support for date format conversion to unix timestamp in profiles SVN: Commit by marclaporte on BRANCH-1-9 :: tiki /db/tiki_1.8to1.9.sql: [FIX] Remove operation on database for now as this feature will be added to 3.0 lphuberdeau: Incidentally, I just added Socialcalc to the web Directory of spreadsheets on tw.o. Awaiting moderator approval. no idea what you are talking about tw.o has a Directory of web links to various spreadsheet tools. I noticed Socialcalc.org was not in the list; hardly surprising, as most had 2003 dates on them. spreadsheet is no longer maintained in tiki, really feature never really picked up and fell behind Yeah. It's awkward that Socialcalc uses Perl, too. That and its licensing makes it hard to consider for TW use. ricks99: : ping ricks99: : I increased size here: http://info.tikiwiki.org/tiki-browse_gallery.php?galleryId=1 pong big point is, google does it best now At least I added it to the collection. Hmm.. yeah, Google Docs should be in there too. size of thumbnail? not only the feature is unmaintained, but even anything surrounding it is ;) marclaporte: any update on new tw.org themes? Found Sheet truncation function: Math.floor() sheets really just call javascript ;) Help with user menus please gschoelles: did you read tiki for smarties on it? lphuberdeau: Yup, that's why I looked for Javascript math functions. :-) http://twbasics.keycontent.org/tiki-index.php?page=Configuring%20Menus&structure=TikiWiki%20for%20Smarties for smarties? quickly - My menus for configured modules are not showing up in the user menu, however they are in the admin menu Not trying to do custom menu, just get the modules to show up @gschoelles: u need to set the module to display for ur groupos looking see: http://twbasics.keycontent.org/tiki-index.php?page=Adding+Modules step #3, specifically doesn't appear to be a module problem as much as a menu proble menus like blog, forums, etc don't show does your user group have permission to use the feature (blogs, forums, etc) hrmnnnn users will only see menu options for which they have permission looking for group perm area see http://twbasics.keycontent.org/tiki-index.php?page=Configuring+Group+Permissions gschoelles: When you define the Menu there is an option for Group visibility. gschoelles: And I think there is a "blank" Group which must be used if you want Anonymous visibility. gschoelles: (I don't know why that is, but last week I made a menu which anon could not see unless group blank had access) yeah my registered group has like no perms gschoelles: Oh, the Group Registered has no perms? Not even inherited? They probably need perms for the relevant tools. need to give Registered the perms figuring out now gschoelles: "Registered" often loses permissions if you strip permissions from Anonymous, as by default Registered inherits stuff from Anonymous. SVN: Commit by nyloth :: r 15240 /trunk/lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_topfriends.php: [FIX] ajax: fix an annoying bug with ajax that occured when going into edit mode for a wiki page (tiki-editpage.php) for the first time after login. This was due to a white space after the php closing tag of wikiplugin_topfriends.php and because the new way to list plugins executes it before smarty display. PHP closing tags must not be used, as suggested by PHP I see. "?>" is a PHP closing tag. ricks99: : profiles.tikiwiki.org is starting to look like something can we move its theme to info.tw.o? ive been holding off on upgrading for new theme low risk, since info.tw.o uses very few features and has very little content ricks99: yes, as soon as Patrick is finished profiles, next is info. k Profiles grammatical problem in: ""Sensible defaults" are not the same for a Corporate Intranet than a public Wiki."
