Hi all hi all hello matt lphuberdeau: hi back home yet? lphuberdeau: I have just spent 3 days with 110 open source people, developers, users and other types. Oh boy I am talked out! We are having a few days in SanFran. and then we are off home. I know the feeling lphuberdeau: I cant wait to get home and do a few days coding with nothing to listen to except my iTunes! lphuberdeau: What are you up to in TW I have not looked at SVN for a while? havn't touched a line of code in tiki in a few days catching up on other work getting back to tiki tomorrow hopefully lphuberdeau: ;) lphuberdeau: Almost everyone asked me why the TikiWiki project had forked!! They confused it with Twiki happens often but yes, tikiwiki forked a few years ago lphuberdeau: so it looks like twiki is on the way down, the developers are calling the new fork newwiki so we should have no confusion there lphuberdeau: I know about the TikiWiki fork yes, the twiki situation is a mess lphuberdeau: I am looking forward to meeting up in Spain - I will be without wife, so should be able to go out and play in the evenings! will be either Madrid or Barcelona I think it will be Madrid, I really prefer Barcelona because I know all the places to play. But exploring Madrid should be fun! lphuberdeau: I have been thinking about, boosting the UI on the webmail. Any suggestions about which AJAX library to use. I have been exploring Dojo be careful... tiki already has some in use and those things don't usually play well lphuberdeau: I will be carfull :) My main concern is how to do it without adding much to the CSS file. I know very little about CSS... and the little I know I try to forget Hello, I gues everyone is sleeping, I got something odd with Tiki, Category is not inhereted when the page is set to any one can view, and a user with a category for another page set, can view, and then click the ? to edit a page! If I click the ? to create a page as Admin, I can see the Category is inhereted, but logged in as the user, click the ? on the page that is View only, but the user has permission to create pages. only sees the category of their own assignment. and none is selected, so a user can create and own a page within the structure of another user. polom Tiki's captcha seems to be basically ineffective. I routinely get anonymous spam in my shoutbox despite the captcha. Well, we knew it was lightweight. chibaguy: yo gary :) chibaguy: yep, it's easily readable by spambots i think chibaguy: got my mail ? polom moloq I am hacking at a template, and I want a part of it to only be visible to admins. I have solved it like this: http://sh.nu/p/25155 but under Internet Explorer that does not work reliably. If I go to the page several times, sometimes the admin-specific stuff is visible anyway. Is there any better way? your opage needs not to be cached sylveig: Was that a reply to me? I don't quite understand. I have emptied the cache in Internet Explorer, so I don't think that it is old garbage that pops up. is your page cached? btw in which template did you put the test? tiki-show_page.tpl I don't want the wikitopline to be visible for anyone except admins ok forget what I said - it should work.... it is very odd.. if I just press reload the bar disappears it is almost as the non priviliged user gets $tiki_p_admin 'y', sometimes, but not constantly having problems with minichat module in 2.2... module seems ok, but no text gets added to the chat window? is there something else that needs to be enabled to get it to work? group has tiki_p_chat permission do we have already in tiki an ajax on a drop-down list? found possible bug... when "cache external images" = y, all {img src=foo} get broken... using 2.2 :( upon save, tiki changes to code to {img src=tiki-showimage.... } which doesnt actually show anything SVN: Commit by jonnybradley :: r 15699 /trunk/tiki-admin_categories.php: [FIX] Edit category was being prevented by check for duplicate new one SVN: Commit by aproulx :: r 15700 /trunk/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [MOD] little changes and indents SVN: Commit by jonnybradley :: r 15701 /trunk/styles/ (darkroom.css thenews.css tikinewt.css): [FIX] Mend bad layout caused by my site_header changes on darkroom, thenews and tikinewt themes SVN: Commit by jonnybradley :: r 15702 /trunk/templates/tiki-site_header_login.tpl: [FIX] Incorrect div#siteloginbar closing tag position I have just moved a copy of my tiki to another server/site.
