hi, I want to use single-sign-on and already have a several web applications, that use a database where all users are stored. I want to integrate TikiWiki in this environment and wonder, what would be the best method, to get my usermanagement working with TikiWiki. I am not using LDAP or PAM and thought of implementing CAS for it, but have read in the docs, that it may cause problems setting it up.
Will CAS be the right way for me to try to use my own usermanagement without Tikis usermanagement or is there a better way? e.g. implementing an own module for authentication...
has anyone used CAS with TikiWiki yet? for porpuses like that?

if you want users to edit items that are categorized,  you need tiki_p_edit_categorized permssion, too

when I upload pictures they are saved in wiki_up. When I restrict access to sites/content. How does TikiWiki assure that the pictures of the restricted sites are not accessed directly? The pictures (according to its url) are loaded directly and not through a php-script that reads and sends the pic and could check, if the user is allowed or not. Does an htaccess module do this somehow? or how is it realized?
or is there currently no protection for it?
use the file or image  galleries for this kind of protection

Help!  My 2.1/2.2 site can't send email, but 'trunk' on same server can send email.  Anyone know of an email bug fix?
