it appears to be not very obvious for new posts. Also, does the forum keep track of what you have read and not?

yup understand. how do i allow my users of a group to have that module, only appears for admin presently.

next question... im getting a "you need to run ./setup.sh" blah blah. i have run the command with apache and nobody as the user but to no avail...ideas?
commands used "sh setup.sh apache all" and nobody instead of apache

just new to tikiwiki, evaluating it for our group. So lots of questions.
next one - is it possible to load a different forums into the centre iframe? I like the wiki but dont really have all the reaftures i need for thr forums.
when viewing forums is it possble to change the "new" post icon as it really isnt that obviuos there is a new post/
You can load external urls in the center column, as an iframe is used.
But would have to handle user authentication separately.
The easiest way to change the icon would just be to replace the image file. Having alternative icon sets is on the way, I think, but not here yet.
next one! can i make many forums with many levels of groups before having topics? ie top elevel would be group1, group2 and group3 - under each group wuld be another set of groups "admin, gegenral, projects" then under these topics would be the actual posts. it would appear only one level of groups is allowed from what i have seen.
Hmm, as far as I know, just one level, divided into sections.
