ok fine... here's my question:
the tiki wiki web site says it has WYSIWYG
so i installed it, but there is no true WYSIWYG!
i tried to edit a page and it gave me the same old wiki syntax that all the other wikis do
is it some feature i still have to enable?

hi there -- I have a question for anyone who has a definitive answer -- does TikiWiki have the capability for the admin to setup something so that users get an email when a category or object has something new (I understand how watches work, that the users have to set them up themselves) (I've looked through the documentation, and I think the answer is no, but I want to be sure)

I did not say that - for it depends on the interaction between the 2 spaces - there is some ways to share between tiki but not a lot and mainly like batch or import/export

lq_570: From a security standpoint, better to use separate databases for internal and external data.  Same for code.
lq_570: Security concepts don't care if TikiWiki permissions presently work.  If you want to avoid problems due to bad permissions, separate the data.
lq_570: So as no interaction is needed, just set up separate databases and separate copies of TikiWiki code.
That's one for all clients, and one for internal.  Whether to put all clients in same database is up to you.
lq_570: If there is little damage if clients accidentally see the wrong info, you can use one database for all of them and depend upon permissions.
lq_570: If clients need to be isolated, or if you need to be able to completely remove one client's data, then one database per client is safer.

Permission-affected stuff can be in cache, so it should be cleared after changing permissions.
(but I think you know the cache)

I´m very new to tikiwiki and I am trying to find out how to put code inside article. The code contains html tags and spans several lines.
I tried ~np~ ... ~/np~; ~pp~...~/pp~ and {CODE()}...{CODE}
Every time it seems that my browser interprets the html tags
Am I doing something wrong ?
