Hi - does anyone know where to get a linux version of PHP with everything needed to run v3 (trunk), and what options to use to compile it?  (for example - how do I turn on that non-default MBSTRING feature v3 uses?)
cnd, I wonder about that "non-default". Trunk runs on my run-of-the-mill hosted domain (linux) as well as my laptop with maybe 2-year-old wamp package.
I don't know much about linux or installing php though. Have I just been lucky? ;-)
hosting services roll their own PHP versions to deliberately include features (and thus cut back on support issues/requests for those features...)
WAMP will have been a once-off build, and again, that would be why those guys included as many options as they were probably able to make work under windows.
Anyone at FOSDEM ?
I've only tried SuSE 11.1 - not any other modern distros yet - so it is also possible that Novell are to blame, and have actually left something out
Doesn't help me what they did of course - I still need to rebuild it now :-)

another question. the backend and frontend pages of tikiwiki, are they all compatible with the browsers IE7, firefox 2/3, opera, safari and google chrome? or are there any limitations?
