7pm time to cook see you later ok I am still testing I will leave a message on her for you On 2.0RC4 The cursor works fine, bold/unbold works well and the cursor selects text correctly. The only thing broken is there is no OK button in the popup when you add an internal link. Thanks for your help on this .. Hi On 3.0 Beta can anyone help me with the File Gallery it seems totally broken. polom Marc polom yoni long long time no see :) yup amette & Gary are on their way home Polom back Marc polom hi amette boker tov, yoni :) bravo ! :) thnx! :) arf tw dev always on a train :) better than planes - more comfortable and got even internet ;) right... they were a tw feast somewhere ? yup, in Montreal http://tikiwiki.org/TikiFestMontreal2009 Oh ! I was in montreal a month ago... snow storm it was marvelous !!! i think i got to go back for longuer there :) yup, I liked it a lot - nice city, very nice people - I just didn't have much time to wander around and look at stuff - next time I must be there a couple of days longer :) yes nice people i felt this too arf... french root you know it helps ! :D hehehe ;) yeah, I again got to play with my extensive skills in french language :P yes "boker tov" won;t work :D hehe *G* i miss the snow... too hot here :( hi all from the UK aneone there? hi hi here but working too :) oh hi all sorry I am busy as well polom hi marc getting ready for a big demo tomorrow :) :-) did you see slides for TikiFest? not yet - I have been busy trying to get 3.0 beta set up for tomorrow http://www.slideshare.net/RegisBarondeau/tikifest-montreal-march-2009 oh great I will look later. My big concerns at the present are with the 3.0 beta WYSIWYG totally broken on the Mac, the file image gallery and image pluging are unusable :( s/pluging/plugin/ Can I get the file ID to show on the File gallery so I can put it in a wiki page? I can only get the galery ID to show MatWho: did you try the WYSIWYG profile? Why, is that going to fix the editor which is totally bust on the mac? If so I am very happy! I don't know I do know that LPH had picked the well-working things and made a profile. He deactivated some things that cause issues I doubt he tested on Mac though I was talking to sylvieg last night - I hope she gets a chance to fix it. Demo tomorrow is to a mac shop so no WYSIWIG is nearly fatal!! But any way we continue, hey this is whay OS software is all about!! :) But the file picture gallery is very strange, ther is lots of testing and some significant UI isses to be solved - who is the main person in this area? nyloth is ok I will have a word with him, ist getting good - but is quite unusable for "civilians" as it stands (in my humble opinion anyway) :) s/ist/it is/ MatWho: does it work on main fck editor demo site? What about 2.2? yes - just not in TW can aneone sugest how I can have page1 as the default wiki when someone arrives as Anonymous then once logged in the get Page2 and keep it as the default? come on you lot too slow ... I have sorted it out already !! :) :-) marc what is the neatest way to include a picture from the file gallery in a wiki page does {ing src="xxx"} work if so what is xxx in version 3, should have helper Is it "Add another image" ? and you just put file number in the form well that is the other thing I cant get the file gallery to display the file's ID!! does the helper work? OK I have got it, it is not obvious and I am not being thick. But some work need to be done here!! You have to double click on the link to paste the {} bit back in to the page. {IMAGE(fileId="6")}{IMAGE} yes, we need more UI work This is OK but I dont know the ID, honestly you canat see them in 3.0beta!! s/canat/can not/ hi Mat HElooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Go to file gal -> "Edit Gallery" -> second tab "Display properties" -> change "ID" from "Hide" to "column" (or anything else than hide, actually) anyway, that's not supposed to be the way of adding an image Don't you have a "add another image" quicktag next to last (a blueish square) ? This should launch a filegal browser yes so 2 things : First if I change the property it shows the ID on the file gallery list BUT not on the actual list of files, its a bug! Oh, Marc already mentioned that :-( Is it easy to fix? I can see it on the actual list of files Second point: when you have clicked on the lille icon (with alt tag of "add another image") it is not clear at all what you have to do to actually select the image you want to include. Good point. What text should be added to the file browser ? Let's make use of your "fresh eyes". Once you know what to do, the non-obviousness gets forgotten OK the problem is as follows with the ID's if you create a gallery with the option off, when you turn it on the ID's do not show. It all works fine if you switch the option on before creating a gallery. :) Please "Once you know what to do, the non-obviousness gets forgotten" was a joke - it was please tell me it was! I doubt the ID thing. The option just controls the file gal list display. The ID exists anyway. At least in beta0 (installing beta1 right now) Was the TW cache cleared after changing the ID setting? doubt away - but it is true! The fileID is also visible in the image URLs, so it can be found even if not listed in the gallery. You need to tell nyloth about improvements, but he probably won't answer this week (he stayed in Quebec with his wife for one more week) So {IMAGE} did reach 3.0? I missed the trunk/4.0/3.0 announcement so I'd been committing to trunk and not 3.0. I am on trunk as well aren't we talking about the beta ? The beta was created from 3.0 I just created a beta1. Went through installer. Created a galley with default options. uploaded an image. No ID displayed in listing. Edited file gal properies. Set ID to "both". Went looking at the gallery -> Here it shows a new ID column with the expected id (1) Clear template cache ? Yes did that I will delete the old one and recreate it see what happens strange have ID displayed in my fgals... Its OK now I know how to double click on the file viewer I can survive. The ID thing was my PlanB now PlanA works fine!! Thanks. sylvieg: Hi there, Any joy with the WYSIWYG I am just back to my computer :) oops sory dont want to nag Please forgive me! did you set Id displayed in a column ? oh yes and it works in the other galleries, just not the first one. Anyway I dont care I dekleted it and re-made it now all is fine :) s/dekleted/deleted/ ! and did you changed it locally in the edit->fgal because there are 2 settings - one global used at eh fgalcreatin and after it is local to fgal Oh I will check .. sylvieg: Sorted!!! Thanks. +1 on your comment above (I was also trick by this point...) you mean change the default, or remove the per filegal config ? I am not sure, but if you set the global one that forces all ids on I would say is logical tikiwiki: 03pkdille * r17222 10/trunk/ (8 files in 2 dirs): [MOD] quizz: deploying auto_query_args and find.tpl to this feature grids well, if I configure a local filegal, I don't want its config to change because I changed something somewhere else. the purposes of file gals are very varied, and having per-filegal options is good. but this is buggy path and explorer are changed - but not the rest... On the other hand, I wouldn't mind havind ID displayed by default yes, it's buggy: path and explorer global changes change it everywhere A quote from Pauline who was very stressed out this morning thinking we could not get Tiki up and running: "Wow I love Tiki" Thanks every one for the hard work 3.0 beta is going to be a very fine thing indeed. :) times 100 tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r17223 10/branches/3.0/templates/tiki-admin-include-fgal.tpl: tikiwiki: [FIX]fgal: a little message to warn about the problem when changing global tikiwiki: displays settings: TODO have the same behavior for each setting (exploror+ path tikiwiki: have different behavior) + proposal to copy every not settings to each fgals :) Hi Pauline. We missed you guys in Montreal :-( We have been v busy moving in to new house, next TF in London? What is the nicest way to put a you tube video in a wiki page? we have a youtube plugin is there a firebug like for safari? yes its part of safari you have to switch on the developer option, in the options its very good on the mac not so sure about on the PC ok thx oh the bold switch I notice that it works the second time I clicked on B but never the first on my safari dammit the same behavior on FF only the bold switch ? We once had a TW install which ignored every other clic in WysiWyg bold, italic, underline at least tikiwiki: 03pkdille * r17224 10/trunk/ (20 files in 2 dirs): [MOD] deploy find.tpl to some templates (should be the last ones) and auto_query_args to the related php files I wish I could remember how nyloth solved that at the time :-( Hi all now I am on to blogs in trunk. I have set iki_p_blog_post blogs + tiki_p_create_blogs + tiki_p_read_blog But registered uses can not post, they can view and create. It is a bug or me not getting the docs? there is an option in a blog to allow other to post.. yes but I just want them to be able to post to the one they created and that does not seem to work so i did not set it even if I set it on I still cant post Only way is to give tiki_p_blog_admin then it works But not exactly what I needed :) you mean you get "Permission denied you cannot post" ? yes Ok is time for me to eat, getting late here. Thanks for all your help today! I have a demo now so I am looking forward to showing of OUR work tomorrow!!!!!!!! I can not reproduce the blog perm problem... I can, ad I found the fix *and cool a missing "!" in a long string of perm checking does the ajaxautosave need the ajax feature on? no idea :-( I might be missing something here, but is there a way to explicitly password protect wiki pages? to view or edit? to view (my boss) only wants a certain page protected you can use apache feature to do that .htaccess ? how would that work out http://www.elated.com/articles/password-protecting-your-pages-with-htaccess/ but does that work for dynamic pages? like the url is tiki-index.php?page=ProtectedPage I do not know - never tried I don't want to completely block tiki-index tikiwiki: 03Jyhem * r17225 10/branches/3.0/tiki-blog_post.php: [FIX] Allow blog owner to post on own non-public blogs tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r17226 10/branches/3.0/templates/setup_fckeditor.tpl: [FIX]fck: if ajax autosave is not on, do not load the fck plugin to avoid js error + to avoid to have 2 clicks 2 times on a action in fck I wonder what PKdille does in trunk... :-( let's try that trunk and 3.0 don't diverge too much probably he did not read his mail during his vacation ;-) makes sense :-) hm, perhaps what I'm looking for is a way to restrict a page to certain groups? Landon: : click perms at the bottom of the page marclaporte: I'm not seeing that option, (logged in as admin) what theme? custom theme >.< what is the URL to the perms page? switch to tikineat.css and fire your designer :-) I wish :) Or give him a Tiki theme making course unfortunately, mandates have come from high that the wiki must match the uni's theme you can switch theme just for your user that works well I suppose in theory it'd work there we go awesome, thanks tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r17227 10/branches/experimental/ui-revamp/ (1018 files in 127 dirs): [MRG] Automatic merge, trunk 16333 to 17224
