sylvieg : :-) so i'm having trouble getting the registration email part of tikiwiki working and in the process of modding it to use phpmailer, i noticed it has built in smtp support, but i can't seem to find any documentation on it. is it an unsupported feature or does it go by another name or anything? yep ...yes? anything further? or was that not directed at me? MasterCJ: : please standdby http://dev.tikiwiki.org/wish1711 standing by cap'n yep i found that before still doesn't really give much insight into how to wrangle it into working just says "you know, it's hard to config this." http://dev.tikiwiki.org/How+to+get+commit+access well, it needs to be coded and to add an interface in the admin panel ah, so it's nonexistant right now? correct i just saw all the smtp stuff in htmlMimeMail.php which is why it's on the wishlist and it got me excited it's supported by the class, but not being used by Tiki ah it's a very annoying problem Do you PHP? yeah it's my job Can you fix and add to main Tiki code base? :( maybe i'd never seen tiki until yesterday though so... yeah That would be __very__ appreciated Just 1 million lines of code So you should be ok by Monday :-) haha yeah totally if you take the lead, some people will help you find your way around right now i've just hacked phpmailer in it seems to be working... kinda what's missing? well i don't know if it'll always work it's working for me right now, but it looks kinda fragile the way i've done it perhaps you could document on a wiki page, and let community eyeballs sniff out any potential trouble tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r17254 10/branches/3.0/lib/setup/theme.php: [ENH] Switch from Tikineat to TheNews as the (maybe transitional) default theme, as part of removal of Tikineat from branch 3.0. tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r17255 10/mods/trunk/themes/tikineat/ (. Readme.txt styles/ templates/ templates/styles/): [NEW] Future home of deposed default theme, Tikineat. In branch3.0, the CODE plugin is showing "{FLASH(movie="http:..." quote mark is encoded....:-( ...regression bug oups amette: : still htaccess weirdness on doc http://doc.tikiwiki.org/3x sends me to index Guys, hekp please? I'va accidentally deleted the "Application menu". How can I get it back? Anybody? Hi R|SK, what Tiki version? 2.2 The module is still there, but the menu is deleted I wonder if you can run the database update script and get it back. afaik, the menu is stored in the database. Anyway, there's no risk in running the script again. Hmm... Or I have to recreate it manually. That'd be a drag. It's a lot of items. Indeed. How can I run the script again? Go to tiki-install.php. Actually you could use phpMyAdmin and submit the statement that way too. Is it nor automatically renamed? Hmm, either it has to be renamed back or a new tiki-install.php uploaded, I guess. I've forgotten how 2.2 works already, since working with 3.0. Neither do I have access to the filesystem nor to the Database. You can't ftp files to the site? Not yet It's a cororate server. I don't think there's an admin method to get the menu back. Every solution requires either ftp or database access, I think. I have a second installation of tiki here, and tried to export the menu there and to reimport it to the main installation but I gett an error. You can only use optionId = 0 to create a new option or optionId equal an id that already belongs to the menu to update it. That's the error message. How did you export it? With the option "Export CSV data" on the menu page. polom polom Polom back luciash. I don't see that option... polom luciash Tiki-admin_menu_options.php -> scroll to the end of the page. R|SK: you have to open the CSV file in OpenOffice And then? R|SK: or some text editor and change all in the column optionId to 0 then it will work I'll give it a tr< *try sure, it works like that :) hello everyone R|SK: we're enhancing the menus admin for 3.0 now so i will give it better instruction there hi mycomputer Luciash: Ok, i set all items in the optioID to 0. Let's see if you are right. hi luciash, how are you? :D Luciash: "An error occured in a database query!" :( hi mycomputer, i'm fine and you ? is all the components running fine ? Is it possible, that it conflicts, with the options I've manually reestablished? R|SK: might be buggy on 2.2 :-/ i'm sure it works in 3.0 :'( I'm fine thanks. For the moment no problem. I am becoming a real tikiwiki fanboy :) R|SK: ah, yes, you have to create new empty menu or you have to set the column (last) i think to 'y' to allow overwrite what you already set I'll create a new menu and try again then. R|SK: so no bug but it tries to overwrite same items which fails Yeah! It seems to work! :) chibaguy: are you subscribed to tw-artwork ? And here we go again! :) Thank you very much guys. Great support here. *THUMBS UP* heheh I didn't subscribe yet, luciash. but will i hope to drag patrick there too at least having him there when he's not interested in devel that much and visual media is more for him when he has trouble to communicate in english still ;) good idea chibaguy: replied the table suggestion, hoping it will be optional mycomputer: always nice to have fans :) without fans, no joy ;) :) chibaguy: mods are only trunk ? yes, no branches mods/trunk/themes ? yep ok, so it works ok only with trunk ? well, that depends on what you mean by "works with", I guess. afaik, people just use mods as a general repository. There's no correlation with trunk or branches of Tiki's main code. i want to checkout, can i use them with 3.0 or 2.2 ? That depends. For things like avatars, no problem. But for themes and other things, there could be incompatibilities. i see I don't really know a good strategy for themes. I'll just label the 3.0 versions like Kubrick_for_3.0 or something. when o do svn co mods/trunk/themes, does it create mods dir ? or only themes dir ? Heh, well I use TortoiseSVN, which is a gui that adds contextual menus to my file manager. why not to put it in mods/3.0/themes ? or is it possible to create branch mods/branches/3.0/ ? ah :) I don't know enough about svn. i'll try and i can always move it with SVN, so no problem ;) Maybe nyloth has a good answer for that. So guys, another question for you: I've enabled the plugin Snarf, to embed external content into a wiki page. However there seemd to be the same security issue as when implementing an iframe. The code is changed from {SNARF(url=>http://www.livejournal.co... to {SNARF(url=>http://www.livejournal.co... R|SK: that's easy to workaround The same thing happens to
