spoonypjk, you need to use syntax like menu id=1 css=y.

In particular, it's not a good idea to put both a banner ad and a menu in strasa's site header area, I see. spoonypjk: given that doc and dev are running 3.. is 3 beta1 sortof-production ready? chibaguy: Yes, with emphasis on "sort of" :-) Hansi: What about 4.0? :-) spoonypjk: hah. -: spoonypjk ponders if he should be brave. chibaguy: The code that will be 4 hasn't really diverged much from 3 yet.
Or else is in experimental branches and not brought to trunk yet. Hansi: nope, that's my impression too, I'm runinng a 3.0 and a 4.0 test site, and I feel they are very similar
...and I'm about to put one of my 3.0 sites in production, been a very trouble free experience thus far chibaguy: You can look at http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=Release30process for problems.
One variable for the dev and doc sites is that they were also moved to a new server, which added extra things to sort out.
I think for a live site running code that's changing every day, it's good to have a test site to do updates on first.
To make sure revisions are working ok. spoonypjk: Yeah. Hmm, reading through the list of 3.0 problems at the moment :). seems nothing too ridiculous.. but maybe enough to run into the odd problem here and there on a live site.. Hansi: Not sure I'll be doing that, it's just a personal homepage, so if something breaks or doesn't work, it's not that big of a problem chibaguy: Tiki 3 would be great for that.
even at this stage spoonypjk: Maybe if they updated the admin icons I'd be swayed :) chibaguy: well, if you know of any that can be used license-wise.... :-) spoonypjk: Actually I dont mind the admin icons all that much. It's only the way they get rendered once you click on one of them and you get the row of the smaller version of them along the top.
On the main screen where they are they large versions they look quite nice and well rendered. chibaguy: ah, without the borders, etc.. spoonypjk: yeah. they end up atleast in firefox/ubuntu quite jagged. ***: Kimberliee has joined #tikiwiki Kimberliee: Good morning all.
