javacougar: Does anyone know how I can have my wiki pages display the date they were last modified and by whom?
voraistos: javacougar I'm not sure, but I think feature contribution is what you're looking for
nkoth3__: javacougar: doesn't it normally display at the bottom?
javacougar: It isn't showing on my install...Perhaps it is based in the theme? I am using the mediawiki theme. Any idea where the setting might be?
voraistos: no it doesn't normally display at the bottom. there are various types of contrib display you can get: last contributor, all contributors, etc...
nkoth3__: right--- where is that setting?
Admin... Wiki: List Authors dropdown?
voraistos: admin.php?page=wiki
err.. no
tiki-admin
and in tiki2 I'm not sure you can get?page=wiki working
admin panel>wiki settings > wiki features > list authors
javacougar: I see that option, testing now
voraistos: what you want is probably "last modified on"
javacougar: I have that selected, but it does not seem to be doing anything
nkoth3__: maybe it is the mediawiki theme. I remember that it is right at the bottom....
like really at the bottom, in the footer practically for that theme
Maybe the "footer" needs to be activated in the Look and Feel
javacougar: I guess I should enable the footer and see if its there
nkoth3__: Beyond that, I have no clue - i haven't tested the mediawiki theme on the latest tiki, to be honest
Maybe chibaguy might know, but he is not online right now
javacougar: ah yes, its at the top of the footer
thanks for your help folks
nkoth3__: np
voraistos: Never looked at at, but the mediatiki theme probably has a great deal of hacked-up .tpls
nkoth3__: a couple I remember
a handful

I just can't manage to find how the forms are built in tiki

in the php and tpl's I can't
I just can't find where it says: " <form action="tiki-admin.php?page=wiki" method="post"> "

marclaporte: tiki-admin-include-*.php
voraistos: I don't think so
I've looked at the wiki include
it's not there
or I'm blind :O
marclaporte: what are you changing?
voraistos: the naming of the files
I tried that for the wiki itself, and got into trouble (editpage is massive)
so I decided to try it out with the admin interface
basically, what was once called tiki-admin.php is now called just admin.php
getting all the php files moved/linked together isn't the problem, all pages display fine
changing the features is the problem
because i can't find the piece of code that deals with the forms
hey, do you know any tool that can search for stuff in many source code files?
-: Sug4r you know any tool that can search for stuff in many source code files?
voraistos: wtf ?
it seems my desktop search thing doesn't work
marclaporte: I still don't understand what you are trying to fix/change
voraistos: originally, (tiki3), the main admin panel file is called tiki-admin.php
Let's say that I don't like the name and want to change it.
to... admin.php
all the links I could find were changed to admin.php
admin.php?page=wiki diplays the wiki option/features
and, after changes the links to admin.php, everything displays fine
except, when i want to change an option and save, the "save" button is a post form that links to tiki-admin.php
because tiki-admin.php doesn't exist it doesn't work
I want to find where in the code the form is being processed.
marclaporte: ah
voraistos: I found some forms in the admin-include stuff
but not the wiki one

xavi: hi SEWilco2, and thanks for feedback.
That's buggy to me:
the "Contact us by email" should be shown, but it's not
Admin > general is set to allow anons to contact us; user is set as contact user, and that user has email
however, when you add the perm to anons for sending messags , then anon. user can see the form to send the message, and also the section showing the contact user's email address
to me, the contact user's email address should be shown even if no perm to send mesage through tiki is granted to anons.
That's the behavior that Tiki used to have
