Would just replacing the border with some extra white (blue) space provide enough separation of modules?

heh, I tried such a hack with no good result, but may have missed a detail.

a problem is that IE6 seems to not display the last module at all, so some change is needed (or else we advise to put the least important module last. ;-)
for me function has to override pretty - even for IE6 users (sadly)

if I have that off, I get the same behavior as he does
the way it works with the option on is that the first time a user logins, TW connects to LDAP and if everything is OK an account is created on Tiki
however, the user is *not* logged in
on subsequent login attempts, he *is* logged in because TW just connects to Tiki
and completely disregards the LDAP
