Hi gary... the loginbox and search box are two items that are available in th administer module option. but they are not listed in the modules folder in the root folder. how can i use these two modules in a {module} plugin ?
Any module listed under "Assign new module" on tiki-admin_modules.php can be used with the module plugin.

Hello, I am having issues with the confirmation mails not being send. When I test with "Mail this page to a friend" the message is received. Any ideas ?

if you need a searchable archive of outside articles, seems to me the wiki would also work ok.

luciash, probably both. anyway I was thinking about a bug report (problem seen on doc.tw.o) that ie7 can't display iframe plugin content.
I googled and found a bug that ie7 doesn't recognize width= _% for iframes.
so I tried to reproduce and, sure enough, the space is made but no src content shows, in ie7 in tiki 3.

ah, also I posted about the codelisting. I forgot. so another issue.
about the iframe thing, it's strange but in tiki 2, iframe width=100% _does_ work in ie7... but I didn't check for the differences yet.
one thing is, at my tiki 2 site, the iframe plugin is different: it puts the src url as data, not an argument; don't know what else is different.
i didn't try a plain html page with iframe to test ie7 with yet, either.
i suspect standard/quirks mode again

Weird... bug ?  I have at top left col a box title (no box, no items) "LAST FORUM TOPICS. I have not such a module assigned in any col and it appears only on my home page where i have the "Last forum topics" plugin installed (wiki page) and displaying well what it should.

well, that's why I propose to make it more useful. You can get exactly the wikipedia/mediawiki layout that way.

thunder_dex, that's probably the solution. The problem with specifying logo padding in the stylesheet is we have no idea what size the logo is going to be at people's sites...
The one at dev.tw.o is probably a lot larger than most people's, so removing the padding in strasa.css will probably not be good for sites in general.

and that when you svn up, you typically don't clear your preferences cache
so any new prefs are set not by default, and are set only the first time when you set on the admin page
One should always clear cache after svn up though, in case there are new prefs.

I settled on TikiWiki over MediaWiki for my site a week ago but have held off setting it up because I thought 3.0 was going to be released Monday.  Now I'm trying to decide to wait, install 2.4 or 3.0 RC1

Question:  Is there a way to show a wiki link only to people with the proper perms to see that link?   Basically, like in the folder galleries how users can only see what they can access, but on a link level within a wiki page.
luciash: I am trying to make the shadowbox fullscreenmode work in the "bottom" help, but I have a problem that when the shadowbox closes, there is no way to get the help back again (since there is no icon to click).
should I just give up and hide the full screen icon for the bottom help?

the issue is basically we have 2 groups working on the same project.   One group that is working on the project for real, and one group that is working on the project in a "fake manner".   My company is basically testing the second group and not relying on them, but they can't know that they are only "fake" working on the project.
seems like a lot to pay a company to work on a project when you have no intention of using their work...but alas, that is the situation
