i was considering changing www.raschbacher-schlosserei.at to tiki but it should look pretty much the same afterwards so I was wondering how much work that'd be approx

Probably no special tpl files would be needed, only a stylesheet file.

(I mean both left and right column.)
This theme doesn't look much like your site, but you can look at the CSS file to see what was specified just for the theme's looks.
I recommend using Firefox and the Firebug add-on to inspect the page to see what CSS is being used for each part.

I was thinking the layout.css file should have a div.scrollbox to get that effect.
so the div plugin could set the class as a parameter, and also height and width.

copying tiki to an ftp server takes a while due to the amount of files .. ;)

hi there! I got a quick question: how can I integrate a list of all wiki pages that are in a category into a wiki page?
i did find quite some tracker items on categories... but nothing about the synthax to make them visible on a page

My php.ini sets the limit at 128MB -- docs only require 32MB, I think.
At least the 2.x docs say 32MB -- I installed 3.1.

I just cranked PHP's time limits up to 3 minutes (180 seconds) and reinstalled.  No joy.
Paul_Rubin: check if your PHP meets all requirements by creating phpinfo.php file with <? phpinfo(); in it

Is the MySQLi extension mandatory?  The install script let me specify the db connection as MySQL (classic).

Yes.
I cranked the script time limit in PHP to 300 secs.  I downgraded from 3.1 to 3.0 (clean install).  Same thing every time.
The only thing I'm missing is php_mysqli.dll (I have php_mysql.dll).  Apparently at the time I installed PHP 5, the PHP folks were unable to compile php_msyqli, so they (temporarily, I guess) dropped it from the build.
We're evaluating open-source (PHP) CMS alternatives.  The one we pick will go on a hosted server (IIS + PHP) where we don't control the PHP settings.  So if I can't get TikiWiki to run on my test server, maybe that's nature's way of telling me to go with one of the alternatives.  Thanks all for the suggestions.
