Can wikiplugins be added to lib/wiki-plugins/ and work right away (as in Tiki 2), or does a prefs file have to be edited before they're recognized?
I want to use pam authentication with tikiwiki - I am already using it on other intranet services (php: pam_auth()) - but it doesn't work with tiki, it always tells me, that my password is wrong "Invalid password" - I just installed Tiki 3.1
I added a plugin from mods.tw.o but its syntax just displays as text in the saved wiki page, not even recognized as a plugin, it seems.
any idea whats wrong? I set authentication to "Tiki and PAM" and used the "company intranet" profile on installation - settings for pam: "Use Tiki authentication for Admin login" and not creating a new user (but I also tried it with creation, didn't work either)
About the wikiplugin from mods, my mistake - it wasn't copied correctly to my directory. it works ok, as before.

I got the pam_auth() issue fixed on my installation... I wonder if its a mistake of tikiwiki or my servers configuration not working with tikiwiki
it was that the error variable, that should be passed by reference: if (pam_auth($user, $pass, &$error)) {

i installed the newest version of tiki some time ago and now that i upload images it will not build thumbnails

well, it's not really a mistake - think of having had everything on that harddrive :)
no budget to send it to data recovery guys, so i have to "repair" the system by reinstalling the missing files

yeah, that's not so bad with /usr/share - data recovery guys _surely_ not needed - we mirror the files in /usr/share on internet-servers ;)

i never imagined using a simple power cable diverging can cause power shortage :(
uh? "power cable diverging"? you mean the cable fell apart, or do you mean that you used a power cable which allows to plug in multiple devices?
all i was doing was using this diverge for newly installed GPU which has extra power comsumption need together with the HDD power supply... it happened to the HDD only, could be the GPU too
