could anyone take a look at rebuild_thumbnails in imagegallib.php?
thumbnail generation takes a long time on my server and it occurs every time a gallery is opened
i will check back later and would appreciate it very much if someone can provide some help...

anyone got any idea about the order of execution of smarty templates? i'm trying to add something in footer.tpl but it gets called after header.tpl so doesn't include any headerlib stuff :(
(adding a listfilter for the errors, luciash)

Just upgraded from 2.x to 3.x.  File galleries are having an issue.  Uploading to newly created galleries gives "permission denied" ...
when I hit "back"
upload screen shows up and file gal can be uploaded to.
Don't have the issue with galleries that existed prior to upgrade.

The issue seems to be with the conditional on line 77 in upload_file.php.  I don't know why you'd check for fileId when the file hasn't been uploaded.
When I change fileId to galleryId the error goes away.
But I can't understand why the error wasn't there for galleries that existed prior to the upgrade to 3.x.
Any thoughts?  Is it something in the tables?

Comparing to 2.x, it looks like the code starting on line 43 in the 2.x version was replaced by the code in line 77 in 3.x

When I click on file upload, the perm denied message comes up.  But when I click "back" (from the perm denied message) it gives the upload form and I can upload.

not complicated, just a simple url with some screen sharing.  Unfortunately, it's not a public site.
Web conference is simply going to a web page and signing on as guest.  Then I can show you the issue directly.
