Is "Admin Mods" missing from anyone else's Tiki 3.1 default application menu?

"admin mods" is in Tiki 2.4/db/tiki.sql 'tiki_menu_options' but isn't in 3.1's.l

It was just a path in the Admin>Maps, "/var/www/html/map" should be "/var/www/html/map/"....missing / at he end of it.

does anyone have a great idea for names for logged_users and online_users? online_users is about logged users. the current names would be Online users for both.
would "Who's online" be OK for online_users? online_users has a list of online users, logged_users shows their number

The title with "who" should show the names. Well, you could use "Who is online" for a little more formality.
I think "Online users list" is not so good: a little redundant since it obviously shows a list.

Does someone know how to kompletely disable "Floating help aka the Big blue help icon". Using TW 3.1. If I use Admin-Feature-UI Enhancements the help contend apears on the bottom of every page.  thx in advance error/feature is persistent accross different themes.

what is the purpose of the absurl (absolute URL) parameter used in a few modules? I guess I understand its effect, but I don't understand when it can be useful.
chibaguy: yes. the button collades with the fullscreen button and if the "advanced search help " is displayed on every page it disturbes the look and fell of the page...
The button location can be changed by editing the CSS file, or adding a "custom.css" file to your theme directory (eg. in styles/tikipedia/).
You can move it farther down the page.

div#tikihelp is the div that contains the button, etc. It has a property "top: 3px" but this can be changed to a higher number to move the button down.
I don't know offhand how to change how the help info displays.

I updated themes.tw.o to branch 3 (just ftp'ed the files); was waiting for the site move but figured I'd go ahead since there's no set plan for the move, and time is passing.
Made a new install at themes.tw.o/t2 to demo Tiki 2 themes (in shadowbox popups from the main site).
carsten, I agree the advanced search help button (aka Big Blue Help Button) is intrusive. This kind of floating, pulsing icon isn't found on other quality web sites.
I don't mind it when I'm in edit mode, but it's overkill for anonymous visitors just viewing the site.
It should be a small link or icon in the search form, I think.

I think the search help is useful. But I don't think the big icon is the best implementation.
I think a better way would be the small ? mark icon, displayed as part of the search form.
No need for the Big Button for search help to stay with you in the viewport when you scroll down away from the search form.

Yeah, but not independently for editing and advanced search. Anyway, I don't want the help off, I just think there's a better way for the search help.
(I like the big blue button for edit help.)

Hey, I have a Javascript plugin that works in the wiki preview but not once the wiki page is saved. Any sort of reason this might be happening?

so that absurl parameter looks a bit patchy

I'm trying to figure out why it isn't, because it seems to on the main Tiki site.
I guess the clean thing would be to modify the newsletter to rewrite links and get rid of absurl, but that seems non trivial, so I guess I'll keep things as is and just explain the purpose indoc.
