tiki-editpage.php is broken for me in trunk right now.
I just svn-upped.
I get only the tip rbox (session will expire) partially formed and a link "Edit: HomePage". Page source shows nothing else (no html head or most of body, etc.)
This is with wamp server.
using normal wiki editor
Blog post page is also only partially formed.
Page source starts at h1 pagetitle and ends at starting tag of td editblogform.
Article edit still works (no apparent change in file from before)
This is with Ajax off; with it on, I get the 'loading' anim forever when I click the edit wiki page icon or button.
...er, with the icon. ***: Zylogue has quit IRC (Remote closed the connection)

Is it possible get a random quotation each day with tikiwiki ?
I have noticed that ephemerides feature has disapeared from tikiwiki. Does it still exist as a plugin, a module, ...?
Is it difficult to write my own plugin ? chibaguy: freezed, that was called "cookies" (as in fortune cookies). I haven't checked if it's still in tiki or not.
I think you could use syntax {cookies} in a web page.
See tiki-admin_cookies.php at your site.
Syntax is {cookie} . Tikiwiki|bot: New Forum Posts: File Gallery browser methods - http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=4&comments_parentId=34700 freezed: Just {cookie} ? (Hi Jyhem)
I thought maybe my changes in the site-header files messed up the menu, but it works ok for admin.
Well, trunk is ok, but an export of trunk that I work with has the problem. I guess there's a file discrepancy, but it's a weird effect, I think. jonnyb has quit IRC () chibaguy: In the blog post editor, clicking the smileys icon displays the special-characters popup, but it's ok in the wiki editor (testing trunk with Opera 10).
But in the wiki it places the smiley at the end of the text, not where the mouse is. This is a regression.
(mouse -> cursor)
Other items seem to be placed correctly.
Er, my mistake. Tried again and the smiley was placed correctly. I guess there was no focus the first time.

(back to my anon-can't-see-menus question, it's apparently due to how perms are done now.)

So I understand this as: no longer necessary to indicate groups on admin menu options, just indicate the perm needed for the menu option. Is that the new design? ***: Caarrie is now known as Caarrie|away sylvieg: ... humm chibaguy
I changed something yesterday in the menu
if you use an option ((page)) I check you have the perm to the page to display the page - no more need to duplicate the group in teh menu
perhaps I missed somethiung chibaguy: No, that sounds right, for what I am experiencing.
If I specify the group, on admin menu options, then anon can't see the menu item.
But if I don't, then anon can.
(even when anon has tiki_p_view for the page that is linked to in the menu item)
Hmm, just a minute. Now I specified Anonymous again for the menu option "HomePage", which has tiki_p_view perm, and now Anon can see the item still.
So maybe it's optional to specify the group?
Possibly, anon not seeing the item was due to caching or something. mlaporte: yes & no
(oups, mischan) chibaguy: that's ok, mlaporte, yes & no is a universal good response. ;-) ***: chealer_ has joined #tikiwiki chibaguy: sylvieg, it does seem that it isn't necessary to specify groups on admin menu options. on http://www.gillesmaire.com I don't have the col3 green on all the column
do you have an idea ? chibaguy: Normally, table columns are 100% tall, but divs only go down as far as their content needs. There are complicated ways to to make 100%-tall divs, but I'm not sure if they would work in Tiki's layout.
If you do a search with "css full-height columns" you may get some ideas.
The alternative is to use a table-based layout. I've done this for some of the alternative themes - Eatlon, Kubrick, etc.
You could get the tiki.tpl from one of those themes and adapt your theme to it, if you like. GillesM: ok
where do I have to seach css full-height columns ? on the TW CSS ? chibaguy: No, Google, etc.
It's a general CSS problem, not Tiki-specific.
Actually I've tried doing full-height divs (and luci did a full-height border in Tikinewt) in Tiki themes, but it didn't work out well.
Using a table is definitely the most solid way to get that appearance.
But then you have the problem of having to maintain a custom tiki.tpl. GillesM: ok
