Edit CSS seems to be broken in trunk - saving creates 0 byte file. luciash fixed in branch 3, IIRC.
Hm, broken in my Tiki 3 site, too, so now I'll check that the site is updated.

Also, in forums, how do we get the thread options to display (in trunk)? "Style: plain, threaded, headers only" "Sort" and "Search" are missing in trunk. "Display thread configuration bar." is checked on the forum admin page.
I can set the thread options per-forum if I activate that preference on admin forums, but still the config bar doesn't show up for forum users.

when I clicked "save" the edited css file changed to 0 bytes, and wasn't renamed.

for admin, it saves, yes, but with original file name. I don't know if that's the expected behavior.
i would say yes (admin expects to be able to edit any css via the interface) or do we want css suffixed with -admin and force him to use that for the site ?

^^ about the tables, a little example of redundancy, I think. tables made with wiki syntax are table.wikitable, so why is td.wikicell needed (table.wikitable td.wikicell)? Small problem, tho.

so i have to wait some seconds until it does the "refresh" before i can do anything
hmm, the refresh I see is very fast, so doesn't interfere with clicking, etc.

(except in the xtratoveil theme, which displays, then draws the box around the center column and moves everything down. - a big delay)

I am having trouble with profiles.  I just installed tikiwiki on wamp and it would go slow crash apache everytime.  I switched to bitnami wampstack, and it will at least run, but the 'get started using profiles' or any of the 'install profile now' links just time out.  I am behind a proxy, so I set up the proxy  on the admin section of tiki, but that didn't help....help
gandy909, you could try installing with just the barebones profile, or no profile, just to get tikiwiki going.
it is up and running, just cant do any of the profile stuff.

gandy909, if you want to use profiles, it needs to be a recent version of tiki.
seems like your network setup needs tinkering with, to be able to access profiles.tw.o., not really a tikiwiki issue per se.
I access profiles.tw.o from my wamp server, but proxy isn't an issue.

luciash: i've fixed the prefs checking for shadowbox/colorbox and when it's off now IE takes 5 seconds+ less time to render the page - so i think that shadowbox emulation should be a separate pref - it's very heavy on slow browsers
