chealer: not very productive for me. one thing which didn't help is I had to reinstall my machine, which pretty much meant switching from KDE 3 to KDE 4. nice upgrade, but time-consuming. I hope to do better in Montreal!
luciash: sylvieg: as marc said, you need to switch layer shadows on if you want browser compatible tableless fixed width

luciash: jonnyb: i suppose you have to put them in tpl
nkoth: jonnyb: is there a lib to translate js strings in js, or are they all smarty?
(just wondering about the mechanics...)
jonnyb: luciash: tpl stuff doesn't go through headerlib (always) - better in php, imho
luciash: was it header-jquery.tpl where we did it ?
ok
jonnyb: no, it's hard-coded into tiki-jquery.js afaicr
luciash: i mean for the others... i did something for shadowbox or colorbox iirc
to have it translated
jonnyb: i'm thinking if a new file in lang/xx/

so it can be cached and minified and that
nkoth: I concerned about sending a larger file (more strings) than necessary
but I'm not sure what's best practice
jonnyb: me neither - just guessing
luciash: no problem so long as it works and not overcomplicated
nkoth: I'm googling multilingual jquery to see if I find anything...
luciash: btw, any easy way to generate sitemap in tiki ?
jonnyb: but it needs to be a load of php accessible data like that, but different from "normal" tpl strings
luciash: or any way, even ?
marclaporte: luciash: I need an orange big RSS icon for tiki-admin.php?page=rss (any ideas?)
jonnyb: (so not just added to the $lang array)
marclaporte: sitemap: check with slj institute
jonnyb: luciash: mozilla?
luciash: marclaporte: i guess there are plenty of them with "compatible license"

luciash: marclaporte: thx
jonnyb: sorry i don't get the image
rss = mozilla ?
marclaporte: yes, rss icon
jonnyb: the orange cube with sort of radio waves coming out
marclaporte: yes
nothing to do with Mozilla
jonnyb: no, but they might have a "free" icon for it
chealer: probably even better if we have a general "Feed" icon
marclaporte: this one but legal: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/43/Feed-icon.svg/128px-Feed-icon.svg.png
jonnyb: agreed chealer
luciash: marclaporte: there is none in the jini iconset ?
jonnyb: i was with a client today who was a little muddled with the terminology - "External feed" / "RSS feed" / "rsslist" etc
chealer: sad, since we already changed "RSS modules" recently
nkoth: jonnyb: just thinking aloud what happens when a user has say a minified/cached js and then switches language?
chealer: but changing "RSS feed" to "Internal feeds" would build on that and be quite clear.
marclaporte: I need this icon (or similar) http://demo.tikiwiki.org/4x/pics/large/gnome-globe.png for a new panel "connect"
chealer: (I don't know what rsslist is about)
jonnyb: chealer: let's change the label on the admin menu to suit too (one day)
chealer: jonnyb: hum...
jonnyb: nkoth: yes, we'd have to cater for that - probably part of headerlib by the sound of it
luciash: marclaporte: it looks legal to me... why you think it is not legal to use that ? it is tri-licensed (LGPL too)
marclaporte: I found a good one ( connect_no.png ) in Jini-LGPL (where do I upload?)
chealer: jonnyb: oh. I missed that one, sorry. I should remember to do that.

chealer: hehe
Caarrie: there are some rss ones in http://www.pinvoke.com/ as well
jonnyb: sorry to be dull, but what's the license? (can't see one)
Caarrie: "Free icon set that includes 28 RSS icons of 7 diferent types with 4 color variants. Icon set also includes a .psd source file with icons' reflection." is all i can see
jonnyb: and "free" is ok? (he suggests devilishly)
Caarrie: the second link has "All 72 icons,PNG format.Feel free to use them without any permission.Hope you like them."
jonnyb: is good for me (but...)

luciash: for little icons we use it but marc needs the bigger one
for us it must be "public domain", LGPL, MIT or BSD
jonnyb: i'm a bit confused between "free" and "$499"
luciash: if it's labeled "free" it is usually not free as in speech
hheheh
afaik
is there any other license i didn't mention which is LGPL compatible ?
jonnyb: but that icon is in firefox, so must be "nearly" compatible, no?
luciash: which one ?
marc, can i see the icon you found in jini ?
jonnyb: the rss one (orange with radio wave things coming out)
chealer: sylvieg: the content of loops is just echo-s
luciash: yes, jonnyb, it is tri-licensed and LGPL is one of them, but i fear that would need more compatible iconset than Jini
we use two iconsets to be clear: Jini for the bigger icons on tiki-admin.php (48x48) and silk (for all the others 16x16)

Is there a way to fix things?
jonnyb: this was on a menu object? (how?)
chibaguy: It's at themes.tw.o, so the site is kind of an older trunk revision.
I was at the admin menus page, and IIRC there was a key icon there on the menu.
jonnyb: oh.... hard to tell then
when you say "fix things" what exactly?
chibaguy: perms are kind of messed up in general.
jonnyb: by the upgrade script? (presumably not, if it's "old trunk")
